Description: Natalya's adoring father and Czar of Perovskia. After his wife (Natalya's mother) left the country to pursue her dreams of traveling the world, Mikula was left to care for Natalya and ended up spoiling her rotten. His swordsmanship rivals that of Sir Alistair and he is said to be the best in the country. He is a kind man but sometimes listens to the wrong people which led to the immensely unpopular Perov-Malin cold war.
Hobbies: Spoiling Natalya, drinking fine wines, sword fighting, and listening to violins
Other Notes: One of the reasons he gives Natalya almost anything she wants is because she isn't expected to live past the age of sixteen due to her severe anemia. Natalya gets her sweet tooth from her father.

I will reward anyone who guesses which historical character my Czar Mikula Charnetskov is based off of. I'll give a hint: Mikula is a variant of the name Nikolai.
I must say, I am proud of how well Mikula came out. I drew it forever ago and it took me all day to color. His uniform was inspired by said historical character's uniforms and his sword was designed like a Russian Cossack saber sashka sword *breaths*. There are many more characters that have to be introduced such as Natalya's lady-maid, the family doctor, and a talking skeleton!
Mi Mancherai was chosen as Mikula's theme song because it was beautiful and reminded me of a song my father sang to us when we were little girls. If you have not heard Josh Groban sing then you have not heard the sound of heaven. Do yourself a favor and listen to Josh Groban.
