This was an assignment to draw flowers. I wanted to draw fresh flowers, but at the time, there weren't any blooming, so I was looking around the house to see what we had, and I saw these dead roses on the side of the basements stairs, but still looked really intact, which somewhat inspired me to use them. I mean, for being dead so long, they still looked pretty cool =3
