I love her shoes. I tried drawing them square-toes because in the early and mid 1800's a lot of shoes were made of silk or satin which was tucked at the toe. When people think of Victorian shoes, granny boots usually come to mind but those were a fad of the late 19th century.
Amelia's shoes aren't going to always fit in with the fads of the 1850's because the shoes then were rather boring.
