I've just finished reading the manga version of Densha Otoko. And I gotta say, this term paper was really well-done. You researched and analyzed it very well. I know you were making a term paper for the movie version, but it still applies perfectly to the manga version.
One part of your writeup that I can definitely agree was the part where you discussed group interdependence. If I may add some more information, it's actually an accepted fact in social psychology that people in the West tend to be independent while those in the East tend to be interdependent. Thus, this trait of interdependence not only applies in Japan, but in other Asian countries as well, such as the Philippines.
Once again, good job on your term paper. And I agree with Kensuke Ryumura, it definitely deserves an A.
Hmmm, sounds interesting. I've heard of Densha Otoko, but now I'm stoked to watch Densha Otoko to see the nuances in action. Thanks for some insight into the japanese mind :)

This is very good. You said this was a term paper? This is worthy of a A. I give you permission to kick anyone who disagrees in the teeth.
