I saw that in McDo in SM too (they resold the toys only for a discounted price), but I hate to admit that I didn't but it. DARN! Dx I was rather shy to buy it (I'M A 16-year-old who wanted to but an old Happy Meal toy. Who wouldn't be embarrassed? xD) But I salute you for buying that for you. HEEHEE <333
I just realized that you were asking a question, so I'm sorry for this late response. Anyway, I don't think they're promoting anything here other than the series itself. These toys were previously released in HK, Taiwan, and Japan, so I think these were what was left of it. It's still nice though that they thought about releasing those toys here.

right now i'm collecting the inuyasha stuff in Jollibee next would be conan! mcdonalds a bit far from my usual route... what color was that toy with the mirror? can you tell me?

Great story. Good strategy on trying to be inconspicuous. Hehehe... "the green toy." At first I thought it was some sort of toy figure - should have known that since this is Conan we are talking about, it will be puzzles. What are they promoting? Is it some kind of movie?
It would be fun to see Death Note toys. ^^ A mini Death Note notebook, some L, Light and Ryuk figures...
I was so happy when I find out there was an anime following in the Philippines. It made me feel more at home since it's where I was born (almost my entire life was spent here in CA)
Why can't McDonalds get the toys the Asian branch is making? T_T

I believe there were 2 of those toys with the mirror. The colors were red and orange.

They offer Conan toys in the Philippines? That's pretty awesome! I haven't seen any anime toys around, except for Naruto, here.
Pssh, who cares if they're 'supposed' to be for kids? I'd buy a kid meal like that for a Conan toy! Or almost any anime toy. *laughs*
