I'm glad that someone out there shares an interest in physics. In regards to my explination of time travel and such, I didn't want to go headlong into the subject because (my experience has been that) people aren't really interested. They're turned off by the word "science." Besides, it wasn't exactly the main focus of my article. I didn't want to confuse people by just babbling on about it so I just kind of skimmed through it. Though I do encourage people to read more into the things I reference to. Looking back, I probably could have taken the entire time travel bit out because it stopped being confusing for me by the time I had finished the paragraph.
Although, I'm glad that you actually watched the video and made good critical comments. Thanks for reading.
It's not everyday that one finds an article which contains time travel, so congratulations for touching on an interesting and difficult subject. What I would have like to have seen in this article is to have the science fleshed out more, give us some more facts and explanations. In fact, maybe the entire article could have been devoted to time travel.
I say this because it doesn't contain enough to explain to the casual reader what is involved with the notion of time travel (but the link was handy). And if it is explained, I think that more than just that one reference would be necessary because it seems that Mr. Bryanton's concepts clash with those of some "traditional" physicists. As far as I can tell, Mr. Bryanton accepts the Many-Universe interpretation of the quantum theory. I'll not mention his concept of time in great detail, other than to say that it too clashes with others'. (I'll have to re-read what he says of "timelessness".) That said, you provide a fairly nice intro to time travel in someone wants to figure out what it all mean. Bonus points for connecting it with something interesting and fun: FF8!
I'm pretty sure it's Word of God that Laguna and Raine are Squall's parents by now (as in a creator has explicitly stated it as such). That's the memory I have of it all, anyway.
The entire Laguna and Raine as Squalls parents is a commonly believed idea. IN my experience even people who choose not to "believe it" at the least are aware of the idea. I think those who do not believe it are those who choose to have faith that Laguna would not walk away from a child he had fathered - but that's my speculation.
If there's nothing wrong with me, then there must be something wrong with the universe!

(I know this comment comes months later but...)
