I know that I for one would absolutely love to hear a PianoSquall rendition of the FFVI opera. After hearing the Black Mages version of it the other day, I'm totally in the mood for it.
I'm definitely looking forward to the videotaped interview for when it's ready. Meantimes, this was a fun read. And yes, I'm totally jealous.
That is incredible awesome. I am honored just to hear the story of someone who has met him. His music is so beautiful. I call him the best composer of this time, one of the best ever. I am currently learning the piano: "One winged angel" and "youre not alone." I might heve seen some of your performances. If I recall, they were beautiful. Keep up the good work and congrats!
Yes, yes! It would be fantastic to hear you play the opera on piano. I'm certain plenty of people would love to hear it.
Also, there is nothing wrong with crying due to beautiful music. My sister and I were singing Into The West, from The Fellowship of the Ring, yesterday and I started crying. haha.
My envy for you cannot be explained in words. You have attained heights that I cannot presently tread. For this, I admire, slightly dislike, but totally respect you.

No fairs!! I wanted to meet Uematsu-san. Oh well....I'm happy that you were able to meet him. Makes me want to work harder as a musician.
I'M SO FRICCKIN JEALOUS! X3 How wonderful for you to have met a musical genius like Mr. Uematsu. I would've pretty much broken down after the no translator thing since I can only say small words and "I like to dip my nose in melted chocolate" in Japanese. But I'm glad everything worked out for you. And I'm glad the concert was so great.
Ah, I'll repeat what the previous posts stated. You are so lucky. =) I thought I was lucky just being seated about 25 feet from Uematsu-san at that concert. I'm glad that you got the chance to meet and speak with him though. ^_^
I envy you greatly, having a chance to talk with a legend like Mr. Uematsu...although I'm not sure I'd be able to get through the whole thing without dissolving into complete fangirldom. Eh-heh...
Anyway, this was a great article! The battle paragraph was very cute.
