Aw, thank you. I'm so very pleased that you like this (I'm also relieved that you like the classic vampires too, as that's what this guy strikes me as) and I had a lot of fun with this challenge. I think (though I'm not certain) that Edel Blume is a video game. Don't really know though, I was just browsing vampire scans at minitokyo and this one really stood out to me (and he really is gorgeous).
Thanks for entering! I like classic vampires too, they're a lot more scarier than today's modern vampires (ditto on the sparkles, yo). I've seen this guy before! Edel Blume! I've seen a scan with a bunch of people from this... um, well series I guess.
This looks like a painting! And he's beautiful *u*
Thank you. I'm glad you like this wallpaper enough to want to use it. Thanks also for the translation clarification. Even though it wasn't the word I was going for, it does still fit the wallpaper. Funny, the online translator I used didn't even have either of those options for darkness. (See what happens when I trust one of those things.)
I think this looks pretty good, it definitely makes a good phone wallpaper :) I'll be using it too (just have to scale it a bit since I'm not using it on an iPhone).
As for the title, "obscuritate" translates more to "ambiguity", but it's not necessarily out of place here. The best translation of "darkness" would be "întuneric" or "întunecime", though the latter is more informal :)
Thank you, I'm glad you like it. The first thing I did with this wallpaper was to make sure those eyes really did stand out (so I'm glad that worked). As for the name... I probably would have been better off using a language that I actually understood - but, even if it isn't the right word, and I kind of doubt that it is (those online translators aren't the best), it does fit well enough - as you said. Thanks again.
This caught my eye on the front page and I thought I'd check it out, and I like what I see <3 I like how you made those red eyes really stand out and catch attention. The Romanian term might not be exactly what you were looking for, but it fits the piece nonetheless. Congrats ;)
