Ah ok good to know! Thanks for explaining it to me. Nah I really like the texture, but I myself have difficulty finding the right one for wallpapers. Perhaps you could desaturate the blue a bit? or simply make it that nice dark blue like the one that's already in the wally :P I hope you don't mind me giving a suggestion! ^^;

This looks great! The texture blends very well with the scan and almost sort of gives it this traditional looking feel. Good job on this! And it's okay, you didn't have to put words on it if you didn't want to, it's optional~ ^^

I think it looks just fine without text. Hmm the light blue of his clothes attracts a lot of attention though :P
For me textures is still a mystery, as in which to pick. Do you choose on by instint/feeling? Or do you have some strategy behind it which fits with the scan? ^^
