This is the first iPhone wallpaper I've made for well awhile. I made it as an entry for the "Hon wo Yomu" iPhone wallpaper challenge. I'm actually really happy with how this turned out.

The iWallpaper features Kilala from the short manga series featuring Disney Princess called Kilala Princess. I've only read a little bit of this manga online and I liked what I read. The artwork is very adorable and I like the character of Kilala. And maybe someday I'd like to finish reading about her adventures.

For the iWallie itself, I found this adorable image of Kilala with this book and in the original images, the Princesses were coming out of the book. Well that didn't work too well for this iWallpaper format so I just extracted Kilala with the book, cleaned it up (believe it or not this actually took me a couple hours to make), and added a different image of the Disney Princesses that you see now. Positioning that one wasn't easy because Kilala was in that one too but somehow I've managed to make it work.

I used a brush to make it look more magical and duplicated the roses from the original image as you can see. I'm happy with how it turned out. Reading can take you on magical adventures. And you can even be a princess in your own story. :)

I hope everybody enjoys the wallpaper.
