How many of us seriously watched Oliver and Company as little kids and realized it was Dickens with dogs? If you accentuate the negative by crying death to unoriginality thanks to all the sequels and remakes, you've probably got an unfortunately serious case of blinders going. Sequels don't have to be rehashes or designated evil. The Aladdin and Toy Story franchises are both good examples of expanding on the original content while still being as fresh and interesting as possible. Besides, do you realize how many spinoffs of spinoffs and sequels of sequels happen elsewhere in places NOT controlled by Disney or Hollywood? Neither of us can even fathom it.
Excuse me, but you are talking about Pixar, which although owned by Disney now, is still an imaginative, creative and powerful storytelling force and the Muppets, which could have died when their creator did, but didn't, so we've still got all of the productions that have been filmed after 1990 for both better and worse. Besides, one part of the nugget? It's about an original fairy tale Pixar is doing. Yeah. Actually, you know, pay attention before you mouth off, because there are points I will fiercely defend the big D on... this being one of them. Thank you.
Muppets...? I won't judge now.
What's there to add for Monsters Inc.? Is it gonna be like Toy Story 3? I liked the 1st movie, so if it looks good, I'll go watch.
I've been waiting for this to happen since finishing the first Monsters, Inc., So I'm definitely excited. I hope it lives up to the original. And Brave sounds pretty interesting, too.
...*Announcement :p

Well, I love the Muppets, but the other two I can leave alone.
