It's not like it's a big deal anyway. I mean, it's not new. A little disappointing, but we should have seen it coming. They get more money this way. Besides that, have you ever tried putting a Japanese game into an American N64? Perhaps a bit old fashioned, but I've had experience with it. The cartridges needed filed down to work, and you had to do it right and be careful. So, it's not like it's a new development in the gaming world.

So will the Australian 3DS need to image your ID before letting you play a 17+ rated game?
People might be able overcome the region lock by down... the game and making a couple of patches to a micro SD Card Re... [parts of this post have been removed due to implied use of pirating tools and software.]
Way to go Nintendo slapping people with my with two awesome handhelds in a year and then the expected WHAMMY! Oh yes are consol is regent lock because we don't want to piss our pants with fighting with age rating requirements.
That why some people think Nintendo is for kids and why the WII games most i regret to say and quote "suck"! It is the parents responsibly to watch their kids for what their playing and nobody else's except for mature rated titles. End of story case closed. learn Nintendo, learn a little faster, much faster!
