I couldnt agree more. Stopping just a small percentage of individuals, if they can even do that, seems like nothing more than a waste of money, court fees, and time.
Is it just me or does it seem like those downloaders are too imaptient to wait until FUNimation subs the recent "One Piece" episodes? Kinda' goes to show you how impatience can create problems, and it's likely some of the culprits forgot that FUNimation already has a streaming video site showing Anime it has North American license to.

I get the feeling Funi is only doing this to appease Japanese companies after the whole Fractale debacle. The 1337 number seems to me like a hint that they realize how absurd it is trying to stop piracy by suing individuals.
Does the amount of people caught downloading One Piece episodes have to spell "LEET" =.=? Couldn't they just report 1340 people so they wouldn't give me any doubt at first glance @_@?

I think it's good to buy the the Anime (and Manga) because it supports the team of creators!!

This should be proof enough for those people who still think FUNi is going to drop One Piece (they aren't; we got confirmation from FUNi itself that they were keeping it). I don't think FUNi would care so much about a series they were going to drop, especially only a few years after getting it. It just wouldn't make much sense.
But yeah, odd number XD

Not that I haven't watched a fan sub before, but all I got to say about it is "Finally Funi, finally!"... There's already a legit way to stream the freak'n show online anyway, I wouldn't even waste my life making subs for a show that's already licensed. You'd have to pay me at least...jk,jk lol.
I love Funimation, too! Especially with the awesome releases coming out from them (FLCL, King of Eden, Eva 2.22), and also NIS America(Working!!, aka Wagnaria!!) and Sentai Filmworks (Clannad After Story complete collection).
I'm gonna be broke after Spring, lol and :(

Never thought that disliking One Piece could actually come in handy one day.
