If people honestly believe that some sort of galactic 'karma' is real and the world/universe itself provides 'payback' for things... they need a check-up from the neck up. There's a difference between fantasy and reality people.
Boy am I glad to hear you're ok (in the midst of that disastrous chaos)! Keep it that way, ya?
Speaking of that monstrous earthquake, it made me think of "Tokyo: Magnitude 8.0" (a series I love and will never be able to see again lest I be reduced to a blubbering pool of tears) and specifically how people react in those kinds of situations. If watching these fictional characters made me want to strangle their digital necks with my computer cords ... well, let's not imagine what I'd want to do to the inhumane trolls who spew their poisonous gall so gleefully online.
I've seen a little bit of the news coverage but didn't catch what kind of [time] window there were for people to evacuate, from the first quake until the tsunami hit. Can you share any info on that?
Fortunately, all my family and friends in Japan are doing okay as they're on Okinawa, which is a separate tectonic plate from mainland Japan. If I had any money myself, I'd definitely donate some to the fundraiser; gomen.
I did find out that March is Women's History Month. Didn't have to Google it, but if I'd just looked up a little when I'd been listening to last week's podcast and seen the giant banner hanging on the wall, I wouldn't have asked that comment. Slight fail there on my part.

This is my comment that signifies I listened but cannot formulate a proper comment. It's also like being told to leave a message after the beep.
