I think the Dragon Age 2 DLC was released a week before the game came out. After all, every gamer gets a game before the actual release date. Hell, you can even buy a full game the minute it's announced.
I didn't comment last week because I went temporarily blind from binge gaming, which isn't much of an excuse. I am glad you are alright Ichigo. Hope your a safe distance from the nuclear power plant I heard about. What sucks is that Japan's economy has been shot because of this disaster. I want the 3DS, but 3D is a put off to me. Like Justin Bieber's face, and the Kinect. I love the DSi, how else will I be a creepy stalker paparazzi w/o getting into too much trouble? One last thing, $105 for a Japanese video game that isn't even translated?!
Let me tell ya about what's killing me - that is, me in my current life where I live - about this earthquake stuff right now: It's the hysteria.
At work, all of our little crank-powerable radios are sold out. People are now starting to freak out about earthquake kits. People are apparently worried about what will happen if a tsunami rushes us. People are afraid that a big earthquake could happen any second now. People are apparently now taking Potassium-Iodide pills to protect them from radiation now.
It's the gambler's fallacy. We have just as much chance of a giant earthquake hitting us here now as we have had for the past 20, 30 years. Young people growing up have had earthquake education drilled for us for at least 10 or 15 of those years. This is all stuff we should know already. Instead, suddenly people go "oh yeah, this stuff can happen!" and are now crapping their beds rushing out to get that "Phalanx" medication that protects from "African Rabies".
What happened in Japan was brutal, no doubt, and I'm not taking away any of the real danger behind earthquakes. But yeah. The fear is getting out of hand over here, where we have a giant two kilometer high, eighty kilometer wide twinkie called Vancouver Island covering half of British Columbia and the upper corner of Washington State.
This comment is very tangently related to this week's podcast, but it might give ya something to work with for now.
I'm choosing to just ignore the trolls and morons making stupid judgements about Japan. Though I sometimes wish it didn't take some sort of disaster to bring people together like this.

Finally, a podcast where I sound halfway competent! And really, that's all I can ask for.

Half an hour to get yourself away from a tsunami? Yipes! That's not a whole lot. Doesn't even give you time to grab the photo albums.
And on the subject of Katana reading my comment: I luffed it. Made me sound like I have half a working brain!

Oh, also random fact: my store got 3DS games today, and I think they're supposed to go out already.
Y'know, five days before the system on which they are played does.
Go fig'. I still haven't put 'em out yet anyway.

Ace's winning caption did make me smile.
