Alucard owns

@LilyGinnyBlack She pretty much SUMMED up, what i was going to say on a grand scale. Like..Okay ichigo is strong, but dude he wouldn't even fight Alucard without a probable cause, more or less try to kill him unless he like..stepped on orihime on something, cause he's that cardboard cutout hero he doesn't like to kill when clearly alucard doesn't giving a flying cohoots, I never really cared for ichigo but that's not why i'm not voting for him, Alucard is just..a beast. a srs beast that Ichigo can't even touch. They have too different elements, Darkness and Soul Powers with elemental hints...uh yeah? darkness will pawn him? Even if he does his like..h!ichigo tricks..mm..nah?Alucard is oldschool and knows every trick there is, plus he loves being ripped apart and blow to peices just to say PEEEEEKABOO! later, He is Immortal, and Ichigo isn't Immortal? it's pitting a Demon against a Human with supernatural powers.

um...okay, yeah I like Ichigo, but I've never even seen Hellsing, and even I know that Alucard is probably a much deeper character just from what I've heard through word of mouth.

thus the impossible happens and I, the vampire hater, am actually voting for the vampire, Sorry Strawberry.

Dracula, I mean, Alucard got my vote. It was no contest. Ichigo is an okay hero, but he suffers from what nearly all of the other main characters suffer from in Shounen Jump series: he is very cardboard cut-out. He is the loud mouth, act before thinking type. Maybe not to the same extreme as some other Shounen leads, but from what I remember when I read Bleach, nothing about him really stood out of the norm.

On the other hand, Alucard has elements of being a complete monster, and yet he can still show kindness every once in a while. He can be both horribly frightening and yet alluring and sensual at the same time, which really is the perfect example of old school vampires. His appearance also stands out more than Ichigo's and his odd sense of humor and laugh are aspects of him that really remain with me, as well as his infamous, "Police girl."

Finally, even though the anime has yet to really touch on this, in the manga we got a look into his tragic past and we got a look into how the present day Alucard is tired of living and might even slightly envy humans and their morality. It's all very interesting stuff and much more compelling to me than anything I got from Ichigo when I read Bleach.

Plus...Hellsing is a classic when it comes to anime about vampires.
