You know, I pride myself on being a manly man, but I watched Sailor Moon back when it first aired on Toonami (the OG Toonami) faithfully and no way will I ever vote for a pretty boy like Lelouch. If any of you have a single shred of anime diginity, you'll vote for Sailor Moon. She's classic and that's all that matters.

Voting Lulu strictly because I hate Sailor Moon's personality, think her story is boring, dislike how she handles things, and because she's had zero influence on me at all.

The main character vows to protect loved ones, often whining about how rough things are. Still, the main character fights until the death to achieve their goal.

I had to go with Sailor Moon. No anime has ever influenced me the way Sailor Moon has. It's a good thing I got sick when I was little and my mom let me turn on the TV at 5 AM or I never would have discovered Sailor Moon. It's been an obsession ever since then. Here I am, almost 20 years old, and certain episodes will still make me cry! I feel stupid for saying it, but Sailor Moon has always been a big part of my life, ever since I saw that first episode. I love the moon anyway, and sometimes I still pretend I'm secretly a moon princess ^^" I just don't understand why I never joined the DIC Sailor Moon fan club when I had the chance!
I'm sorry, Sailor Moon. You just never influenced me enough to earn my vote. I feel as though Lelouch should have Sailor Moon topped in all of these attributes except for the last.

Sailor Moon. While Lelouch has Sailor Moon beat in the area of emotional complexity, Sailor Moon is either equal or above him in every other category/aspect.
They both have well developed back stories, they both grow and change over the course of the series, and they both have rather personal motivations. Lelouch reacts to situations in a way that can sometimes be seen as cowardly and a bit underhanded, while Sailor Moon goes for perseverance, though there have been times when she felt as if she lost hope and such and acted extremely realistically.
Personally I like both of their personalities, though Sailor Moon as Serena/Usagi can be a bit annoying. Of course Lelouch can be a bit frustrating and even sickening at times too.
When it comes to their ability to grow, Lelouch's character certainly does, but in the end does he really come out as a different person? Or did he just re-find the person that he was before? I'm pretty sure it's the latter. Sailor Moon, on the other hand, goes from an annoying young girl to a strong willed sailor scout to a patient and wise queen. So her character growth is a bit more stable than Lelouch's, which is a plus for her.
Physical characteristics, personal influence, and the influence Sailor Moon has had on the anime world all tower above Lelouch as well, which gives Sailor Moon that bit of boost and which led me to chose her in the end.
I don't know either characters very well, so I'll sit this one out.
I knew Ed and L really well, having read the manga and seen the anime for both series, but I've never spent much time on Sailor Moon or Code Geass. So, good luck to both~! :3
