Thing is with Sony, they might have decent sales but their expenses are pretty hefty in return. Thus, not a great profit in the end.
I mean, they only started making money off of Playstation 3 consoles about a year ago - up until then, it was four years of production/construction costs being higher than the sale price.
I'm thinking Tiger and Bunny might have had something to do with this ranking...>.>; Everything that is even briefly shown or mentioned in that series ends up getting sold out (from it's actual merchandise to the cologne worn by the main character, which was shown for literally a second in one of the episodes). So, it would not at all surprise me if the good sales in Bandai games are due to one of the main characters in Tiger and Bunny being sponsored by Bandai.
Of course, I don't know much about the gaming industry, and I know even less about the gaming industry in Japan, so this most likely is just a rather amusing coincidence.

Well, I kinda thought that it would either be Square Enix or Nintendo on the first spot, but in based of profit.. It could be Namco Bandai.
Yup, it is the Tales of games, but of course it is only because of that. They also make many many other games. Mostly games that are based on animes (like Bleach, Naruto, DBZ, FMA and so on) come out by Namco publisher, so yeah.. Lost of games.^^
