I really is a big blow to the industry .Really didn't expected something like this could happen.Best wishes to Bandai and the staff and the community.Life is always full of surprises.
Thanks for picking up one of my pictures for the news.
It's really a sad news... I'm not gonna be happy if another one like Bandai entertainment will close... Aside from that, I don't also know why will they close, they're actually one of the famous anime companies.
But, if they're really going to stop releasing new DVDs, etc., then I should thank them for releasing many of them in the past years (I mean so much years.), those anime products that they have done were really entertaining people who are really fond of anime.
Well... it's also kinda unpleasant for me and of course to others. (I don't like this to happen of course! I won't be able to buy some new gundam CDs and Code Geass CDs too )
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not another one?! Yes someone please save Lulu and the others! Good bye I will miss you Bandai Entertainment...

What gets me, and a lot of my fellow Gundam fans is the cancelled releases, especially Turn A Gundam. This news with Bandai is all we've been talking about on the mecha anime forums I visit.
Knowing Bandai Entertainment back in 1999 was how I first knew of "Gundam", though I did not start watching "Gundam" anime until 2000. The first commercial I saw from that company was for the Region 1 VHS relase of "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory". That company sure licensed some awesome titles over the years: "Vision of Escaflowne", "Cowboy Bebop", "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex", "Galaxy Angel", "Gurren Lagann",the various "Gundam" titles Bandai Ent. brought over in North America, and the list goes on.
It bites to see Bandai Entertainment is not brining anymore anime and manga in North America, and North America has already lost few of anime distributing companies, like ADV Films, Geneon, and U.S. Manga Corps. The future of anime and manga distribution in North America seems to be getting more gloomy.

What, Outlaw Star gets no love? That's a Bandai title! ;P
I think Cowboy Bebop is the one title many fans can be thankful for. I've got fond memories of late nights as a 12 year old watching it with friends. ^_^
As someone who spent much time watching my Bebop DVDs over and over again, (not to mention my GitS: SAC DVDs as well!) I thank Bandai for providing me with such a fine selection of anime. No doubt I'll probably seek out more of their existing stock and enjoy the anime they provided me. Thanks for everything, Bandai!

*wipes away a tear* Lucky Star is one of my favorite animes. Probably because it was realistic and I could relate to it a lot.
