I would live in either Soul Eater or Hetalia because if I lived in soul eater, I would marry Maka. If I lived in Hetalia, I'll eat all hamburgers and keep saying "I'm so truly awesome" like Prussia and America.
I would totally live in Ouran High School Host Club as Tamaki's cousin who transfers to Ouran for greater academic opportunities.
I would accel in Foreign Language, English, and Modern Literature. I would fall desperately in love with Kaoru Hitachiin when I tutor him in Foreign Language, but when I figure out that both twins fall in love with me at the same time and don't tell the other, it kind of drives them more apart then they're used to and I have to help them get closer again while trying to balance my feelings for Kaoru and seeing Hikaru as a brother.
eh?! I'm good at this. ^v^
Prince of Tennis of course.
I would be a girl who is super good at tennis but they somehow don't want to make a girl part of their team. In the U-17 camp, I will be appearing with a cap and I would defeat everyone of them until my match with the strongest player. Then the match would be close and he would have to say, "I would win this game, you short boy!" and I would hit the ball really hard and remove my hat and say " gomen ne~ I might make that a short girl~" and that would be my victory line x)
OR
I might just be the really pretty sister of Fuji Shuusuke who just arrived from america and Eiji would be my partner ^v^
I would also like to be in FAIRYTAIL.
I would be the super strategic one looking for my twin sister and will later find out that my twin sister was a member of the strongest dark guild. My magic would be the ability to see other people's emotions and I would discover who really is in love in the fairytail guild. (mostly gajeel and Levy then Erza and Jellal - natsu and Lucy wouldn't be in my radar coz they are just being silly to their emotions xD) And I would feel useless because I don't have the literal power but when I met my twin sister who is opposite me, our powers just got split and we both have the same power (but my emotions ability would stay)
~Sorry, got carried by the thought XD
~tafu-chan ♥
Ooh! Great idea ^^
Yeah, Magnolia seems like a nice place to stay doesn't it? It would be a little chaotic considering the occasions where the Fairy Tail guild attracts attention from destructive forces X )
Merp, my awkward fantasies shall be stated in this blog.
I've always wanted to live in the anime Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu cause it all looks so fun!
I would want to probably take the place of....hm...probably Hideyoshi. Probably cause he's my favorite character next to Shouko (*never had any respect for Yuuko and possibly never will*) He doesn't really have a love interest, but that's fine. uwu
Ahaha, I don't have much to say here. xD
I wanted to live in Fairy Tail world. I think it would be awesome to be a wizard. There are many characters I wanted to be friend with too.
Also, I'd love to be in Black butler world. I would really love to live during that era, have many servants and a handsome loyal butler. lol
I actually wanted to live in the Chobits world because that'd just be awesome. I would probably be the complete and utter awkward girl. I'd probably like Chi, Shinbo, and Sumomo.... And I'd be able to help out Chi and Hideki with the whole "CHOBITS" situation.

I've always wanted to live in the world of Detective Conan. I would take on the role of Shinichi Kudo's sidekick or protege. When he's shrunken into his form as Conan, I'd still be interacting with him and helping him out on some important matters, while trying to avoid the suspicion of Ran and the others. Heck, my character might end up being a mix of Dr. Agasa and Takagi.

Says there's nothing wrong with Mary Sue situations
Uses Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey as examples
Yeah...
Anyway:
That is REALLY hard considering the worlds in most of the good anime I watch are either crapsacks (Kaiba, a galaxy ruled by despotic memory stealers; Black Lagoon, the ack-basswards, black market, armpit town of Roanapur, Thailand; and Puella Magi Madoka Magica, THE WORST LSD TRIP EVER) or exist within the real world (Monster, Great Teacher Onizuka). That being said, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of "animation" universes I would love to be swept away to. In no particular order:
1) Lupin III
Chicness and style aside, the Lupin universe is a much more fun real world, existing several decades spanning back to the late 1960's in the Cold War era (Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine)). In addition to the ludicrous yet awesome notion that the world is run by a thief economy, there remains the attentive detail that law enforcement is pretty much nil. This is a double-edged sword seeing I could be castrated by the next burly fellow in the club who doesn't like the color of my suit jacket. However, I'm a Mary Sue. I could have the world of crime at my every whim begging for a cut of the oyster pearl profits while getting away with it all.
I would exist as an offshoot Lupin family member, based upon a rotten seed. This allows for lessened detection, yet assured success. As for location, I've rarely seen Italy despite the fact Italy loves Lupin, and it seems like they win at having the most priceless items of any nation. Plus, if I feel like the decade doesn't suit me, I could just jump to another series or movie considering time travel is canon (Lupin The III: First Series Episode 13 "Beware the Time Machine!").
2) Any Pokémon series
Anyone born in the 90's has had this dream since they first saw Ash Ketchum don his trademark clothing and tame the all powerful Pikachu. Don't lie, it only makes my argument more sound. Pokémon exists solely as a dream fulfiller, creating a continuous stream of genetic mutants for the gleeful maiming and cockfighting of youngsters everywhere. That being said, if you don't like some Pokémon, you can simply switch out your party. It's like enslaving six people to be your friends only to decide that any extraneous members will simply get in the way. Thus, you confine them to a cold existence on a computer save file. I'm not making a good case, am I? Uhm, bright colors and happy friendship with creatures that could ice your hamster by breathing on it. There you go!
If I had to pick a specific region, I'd go Hoenn. The Pokémon still had imagination in their designs and the variation of the biospheres was pretty immersive. As a trainer, I'd pick only the cooler types of Pokémon with a darker intent (Absol, Gengar, Kadabra, Unown, etc.) just to rustle some jimmies.
3) Cowboy Bebop
Of all the animes, this one is probably the furthest away from the main protagonist I will get. Considering that Spike and gang are dirt poor (much like everyone else but I'm getting there) and all suffer various levels of PTSD, it's not the cheeriest of ragtags, I'll say that. Despite that, the world is so vast and immense in creative designs for all the planets of the Solar System and their moons. In addition, despite the general poverty that dots the landscape, that only seems to add to the charm as the people of the galaxy have certainly nailed down the fact you don't need money to be happy. Thus, I'd be a citizen of a Martian slum or the New Tijuana burbs. Growing up, I'd live next door to seedy little jazz bars and vending machines would be as populous as cars, despite being rarely used and broken into more often. However, if there's one place I could learn how to live in this world right and long, it's on the streets, not in the schools.
4) Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo
Let's show just how fickle I am by going from no money to all the money. Gankustuou exists to show just how unrelentingly the power of influence is, and whoever amasses the greatest fortune can basically buy Space France. Space France, I tell you. This world is astoundingly beautiful, in a Klimt/Warhol sort of manner. If anime is art, Gankutsuou is pure art, where your clothes are your personality and the robots are some of the best use of frame by frame animation period. Everything is bombastic and I want to smother it in my face like a warm cannoli blanket, taking it all in.
As a French pomp and circumstance, I would spend many a night at their famous opera houses and restaurants, conversing with such gentleman as the powerful trio of influence Morcerf, Villefort, and Danglars. However, I would much rather discuss matters with the illustrious Count of Monte Cristo. This is a rare occasion where I say yes to a lover who is also a character. Eugenie Danglars is capable in her own rights and decides her own fate, a rarity in the patriarchal society. In addition, her piano skills are unmatched and a sight to behold. She's a great character. That is, unless she isn't still...a...uhm...there's a Weezer song titled "Pink Triangle" that describes it better than I can. Go listen to that. Still, if she's ready to settle down in an ocean apartment with a piano, a library, and a warm bed, that's one of hundreds of nights in Paris I doubt I'll forget.
5) Adventure Time/My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Let me make this perfectly clear. These two universes probably take precedence over any anime universe given their topical nature and the fact that I watch these two shows on a regular basis. Adventure Time's Land of Ooo is unlike any I may ever see, taking the best elements of such artists as Suess, Miyazaki, and Disney, and throwing them on the canvas until they stick. Valleys, graveyards, theme kingdoms, the Nightosphere, you name it and Adventure Time's has it in spades. Which of course makes for a good show. Never has the apocalypse looked so inviting and defensive at the same time.
Thus, I would wander the lands, a traveling ronin, never settling in one place. Why limit yourself? You have the whole world at you disposal. Do odd jobs, swing a sword and you're set for life. That it, unless you want a comfy life with a serrated edge. In which, I would have to fall for Marceline the Vampire Queen. Yes, we all have the playground crush with her. That was challenged with Season 4, Episode 52a "I Remember You", when her past crept up on us and slapped us with a bass (see what I did there?). I just think that made her a realer character and added to her charm. She's a vampiric queen, a joker, a musician who can make a banjo sound like an ukelele, and is just all around awesome. Let's just hope the Ice King doesn't want something out of their relationship (ew) and let's hope Weezer doesn't go two for two (Season 3, Episode 5b "What Was Missing").
If there is one universe I would take a crack at in an instant, it is MLP:FiM's land of Equestria. Yes, I'm a brony. No, I'm not a loving, tolerating doormat all the time so don't spam me for being a dork who should shove my head up a restroom hair dryer or I will report you or flame war you so hard, you'll be derp in the head before you can say, "Muffins". How do your think I acquired such a sharp wit, honey and friendship speeches? Equestria is the one rare standout of universes at the time of me writing this, January 4, 2013, because it's the only one being developed. Adventure Time won't air a new episode until Monday and that's good enough for me. Despite the fact that the main action occurs in the triumvirate cities of Canterlot, Cloudsdale, and Ponyville, there are several dozen that litter the map. They even have pun names like Appleloosa, Phillydelphia, and Manehatten. Go with it, you pompous nits. They may sound weird, but because it is first and foremost a girl's show, maybe that's why I genuinely like the place. It's has the brightness and variety of Ooo with none of the chaos thrown about, and when the Chaos is wrought, you can expect friendship to save to day, not blindly hope a fourteen year-old is good enough to wield a demon blood sword when you know you would do a better job (lucky punk gets all the glory once he gets a sword). In addition, while swordplay could come into play in Equestria, it would be quite minimal because there's also the speed of a pegasus, the magic of a unicorn, and the brute strength of a pony. Want stats? Of course you do. Rainbow Dash can control the weather nonchalantly and has the occupation of developing the various patterns that make up the forecast. At her very best, she can fly five times the speed of sound, creating a mach cone effect that discharges the legendary Sonic Rainboom, doubling her speed to Mach 10 or 7,600 mph. Twilight Sparkle is considered the third most powerful being in Equestria, second only to the two ruling princesses of the royal family. Her abilities allow her to copy any magic that she has seen performed once, be it hunting diamonds or spreading fear and chaos into the world. Isn't that a kick in the pants? Her intelligence is unrivaled and planning meticulous to the point of insanity, only making her stronger. Despite having no extraneous powers, Pinkie Pie has on several occasions broken several laws governing the world, including physics, gravity, and temporal paradoxes. Her cheery nature allows her to remember every fact on every pony she encounters, retrieving the info when it seeks to aid a friend. She is employed to bake and boy does she ever. Her obsession with parties is unhealthy and frays the sanity to nervous breakdown. You know what? I'm more worried about the Mane Six hurting themselves than any villain coming to town and basically dooming all equine humanity. This is a girl's show, right? Still, in developing my character, any of these powers are at my logical disposal.
The amount of customization will allow me to get creative so here's my ideal OC. Hang on folks, it's about to get magical. I think the perfect species for me is the unicorn stallion. Gaining perhaps an untested variety of acceptable work opportunities including that which could be done by a pony is beneficial in the long run. There's a possibility I'm born into high society, in which case I better be born to Fancy Pants, who can do no wrong. As the rambunctious son of Fancy Pants and trophy wife Fleur de Lis, I'd be a grey unicorn named something cool. Considering a random name generator gave me the tacky names of Klondike, Handsome Charmer, and Nickel Seethe, I decided my name shall be Ebony Spark. My power would be a brand of trick all purpose magic, not unlike Trixie's. The catch is that my main talent is the provision of light in various darkened areas and I often help Luna during the night as her student. Thus, my "cutie mark" would resemble a small torch. While Twilight is the glory hog, I'm more the silent type who needs nothing other than a job well done from my teacher. One day, I get sent to Ponyville because I need friendship blah blah blah. Turns out the town does need my help because the city is not equipped to handle night time problems. Thus, I gain a job. I As for love interest, Rarity. Why? Best pony, that's why.
If you've read all of this, you have too much time on your hands. Go read a book or something, you degenerate.

I've gotten as far as making character profiles, but haven't got to ever writing the dang stories! XP they just like to float in my head aimlessly.
YuYu Hakusho would be my first one and i would be a spirit detective from America who somehow ends up working with the guys. My love interest would be Yusuke and that would help with my role as a kind of heart mender for him.
Pokemon would be fun too and my main pokemon would be lucario . I like the idea of being either a cousin or sister to Ash that travels with his dad until we get seperated and i run into Ash. Wouldn't have a romance in that world.
I also think Skip Beat! would be fun and i would be a member of love me! who use to be a star but now feels she isn't deserving of others love and has since gone downhill into a gloomfest. I also think it would be fun to know Ren somehow from back in the day just so i can give kyoko more dirt on him.
I wanna live in a any mecha anime-Transformers hybrid universe because I wanna fight side by side with the Autobots and show them some human brilliance from time to time.
I would be in the Pokemon Adventures manga, I would be a trainer with mostly legendaries with an exception of 1 or 2 regular pokemon like Frolass. Manaphy is my first pokemon and I never really have it in the pokeball. My love interest would be Silver. I would have to vs. the rise of all the teams(Team Rocket, Team Aqua, Team Magma, Team Galactic, and Team Plasma) who join forces to take over the world(or something evil like that).
Umm, well now since I have to be honest here I haven't gotten to the stage of thinking about this question yet so... I'll go with using my personal experience of the amines I've watched. Fairy Tail: In Fairy Tail I'd prefer to be a new wizard joining the guild. The specific type of magic would be a mystery, and I would at first be connected to Fairy Tail via. a job request involving a sudden explosive magic force registered by the Council. The magic type I have though about is dependent on emotions, therefore it is emotional magic. So even though I can be completely useless at times when my attitude is laziness, you don't want to upset me. That's the basic outline for what you would know about my character in the beginning. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind: I'd prefer the manga world, but the anime world would be fine too. Seriously, who doesn't want to live in a future world exploring dungeons and ruins to find ancient artifacts of extreme value and craftmanship to use in your adventuring in a huge toxic jungle full of mysterious and dangerous creatures including, but not limited to Giant Ohmu whose blood has a hypnotizing affect on other insects that may try to devour you. Of course I would prefer to join the world at the end of the series (the manga-the anime simply displays a shortened version of the more detailed and interesting manga) when peace is restored-since I don't think I'd last long with or against the Torumekian army, huge airships with big guns, killer miasma and flesh-eating insects, giant dormant god warriors, etc.
Well okay, maybe I could go live in Kiki's world and have my manga shipped via. broomstick but there wouldn't be much action

Gargh, I forgot ARIA! It would be wonderful to be a gondolier for the Aria Company :3 Not sure who I'd be in a relationship with, though... there weren't many completely agreeable guys that weren't taken or anything.

Although it's probably not a good idea to pick a Gundam World. The average lifespan of an unnamed character is one episode and that's being generous and any interaction with a lead character is a guaranteed death sentence. The more angst ridden the lead character, the more likely you are to die.
I'd definitely choose Pokemon, too. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't come up more often in this list. I can't resist those fire pokemon - maybe it's just because it's winter here now... but I'd love to have a flareon or vulpix or growlithe around...
I would be in baka and test as my oc playback a guy who doesn't know the language and put in class f because everyone thinks me/playback is as stupid as akahisa but in reality at a st war me/playback ends up to be the smartest person there in turn being the strongest only to be foiled by sheer luck.
I'd like to be a danaan's captain, Tessa from full metal panic. Cute n smart and reeeeeeeally lovely. I also like how she gets mad - it's sooooo cute! - and when she's in love, I kinda root for her more than that of the heroine, if you understand what I mean...
As to the kind of anime I would like to live in, I'd choose Chihayafuru's... That's coz I'm currently into playing karuta, if you know what I mean. Chihaya's spirit really inspires me.

Hmm, I'd pick either Dogs or D.Gray-Man. So... for D.Gray-Man, I'd probably be an exorcist :P the Noah got it tough, ne? Then again, so does everyone in this series, with what type of innocence... an equipment type! Nope, no love interest, just action.
The game world I would choose would be, hands down, FFXII. I love Ivalice! It's such an awesome world! I'd definitely be a hunter. An adventuring viera hunter. Yes, a viera one that wears clothes -_-. My love would be... hunting rare monsters! Killing the Hell Wrym...and Yiazmat, then the ultimate mark, Omega. Unlock the mysteries of Sochen Cave Palace!
FFXIII's world would be great too. I think Cocoon's great and all, but it's way better to look at it from Gran Pulse. I'd probably be like Fang and Vanille (but left on Pulse- probably in the ruins of Paddra). Doing what... um, stuff until the party comes from Cocoon, then join them! I could go for killing Barthandelus and Orphan again :D

I'm boring, but I would like to be in the world of Sword Art Online. Awesome video games, no big stakes (compared to other anime where the entire world is at risk) and I would eventually get to be in Accel World because I really want a Neuro-Linker even if I wouldn't be eligible for Brain Burst.
Gurren Lagann: Because having a great brother like Kamina is not only my morale booster, but also my inspiration to live and survive the hardships whether in good times or bad. Also, why be a spectator if you can just kick in the curb and pilot the Gunmen and fight alongside with Gurren Lagann? Now that's an achievement!
Ugh, this is a toughie....it's a toss-up between the world of Record of Lodoss War and Utawarerumono's world. I've always been very weak and sick due to my premature birth, unable to perform well physically. I used to have dreams as a little kid about a world where I never got sick, my body was healthy and I was an elven mercenary that slayed monsters. The world of Utawarerumono is a complete guilty pleasure thing on my part. Would love to be like Eruruu, the sweet caring healer with adorable dog ears and tail
Definitely no lead roles or anything, but I've thought of and worked on some self inserts before. Working on a Beast Wars one now, and thought of doing one for Transformers Prime, Teen Titans, and i never did finish this one i started on a long time ago for Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Almost all would be supporting roles, some even just being there for a few words or aftertalks
My ideal mary-sue role would take place in the fabulous world of Trigun.
Perhaps as a vengeful young lady who would find Vash's playful charm appealing and giggle at every line.
Of course, near the end of the adventure I may take up arms against Vash. Forcing him to persuade me to rethink
my vengeance against the bad-guys who took... who... who did something to make my family suffer.
After firing, (a/my gun at) Vash would heroically dodge the bullet and then proceed to 'peacefully' punish the bad guys and disappear without a trace.
(Why try to shoot Vash? I don't know, it's cool? Maybe it was a misfire?)
Leaving me somewhat heartbroken and robbed of my pastry stash, with only a note thanking me for said goodies.
Yep.
That's Trigun for you.
Go watch it. Dubbed. It's great.

In my early days of being an anime fan, my favorite series was "Sailor Moon". I didn't know anything about the series other than what I saw, so I had no idea that there actually were Sailors beyond Jupiter. So I imagined myself in the roll of Sailor Saturn. I guess that's why I have an obsession with the real Sailor Saturn.
Later on, I made up a fan character for "Inuyasha": Keba the fox demon. I didn't ship my character with anyone, but I had a lot of fun annoying Inuyasha.
Now, I think that I'd probably be a Pokemon trainer if I were to be inserted into an anime. And just to be crazy, one of the members of my team would be a Porygon. But that would never happen. They don't allow the Porygon family in the anime.
But if I were to go crazy with a self-insertion, I'd be one of the gifted kids in "Death Note" and be L's friend. 'Cause L needs friends.
If I were to go even crazier, I'd be a member of Akatsuki from "Naruto" and "Naruto Shippuden". I'd be Deidara's partner after (SPOILER!) Sasori dies. Sorry, Tobi. I'm not sure what my off-the-wall signature jutsu would be. I don't think about these things that much.
If you knew me, you'd probably think that I'd insert myself into "Fullmetal Alchemist" somehow. Well, to be honest, I don't know how I'd do it. I'm not exactly military material, and there are only seven sins. Now that I think about it, I DON'T want to be in FMA. That would mess up everything I love about the series.
Call it karma. Call it luck. Me, I just don't give a... BOUNCE!

I've played with this idea before, creating several original insert characters for favorite anime, except that I've never written anything involving them.
I came up with a Vaizard-type character for Bleach, but my other characters were developed for concepts of continuing anime like Chrono Crusade and Cowboy Bebop.
I can think of a few anime titles that i could live in -
Dragonball (the original) : I always liked the Yamcha character in the original Dragonball and he best fits who i would be in that series. A strong ally who is always there. He is also a bit more different than everyone else in the group, which helps him stand out. It is doubtful that i would love anyone.
Mobile suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory : I always liked the Kou Uraki character from this series. he is young and full of fire, and he also learns/encounters everything on the fly with little time to prepare. His story is often overlooked when compared to other Gundam titles, but his story is awesome none-the-less. My love interest would be Mora Bascht.
Lupin the 3rd : Lupin the 3rd is one of my favorite anime titles and i always liked the character Jigen. He is the straight forward type that is really good with a gun and has a bit of a mysterious history/past. Another thing i always liked about him is that he is never fooled by women, which is quite admirable. My love interest would be Fujiko Mine.
Maison ikkoku : Maison Ikkoku is a really good series, and it is actually one of the VERY few comedy/slice of life anime series i really enjoy and i would certainly be the role of Godai. alot of the situations he has endured during the series have mirrored some of my own in real life, so it's easy to find the comparisons. My love interest would be Kyoko.
Megazone 23 : Megazone 23 has become one of my most revered anime titles ever, and ive always felt that it would be cool to be in the place of main character Shojo. He is a bit wreckless and over the top, but he matures as the OVA moves along once he realizes what is at stake. Plus who wouldnt want to operate a transformable motorcyle? lol. My love interest would probably be Yui.
Record of Lodoss War : Record of Lodoss War is one of the best Medieval related anime titles and ive always pictured myself in the place of Parn because i've always liked the whole Knight concept, and proving your worth when everyone else doesnt think you are capable. My love interest would most likely be Deedlit, or maybe even Pirotess.
Macross Plus : Macross Plus is one of my favorite anime OVA's of all time, and if i was a character in the anime i would certainly be Isamu Dyson. He is a hot headed pilot who uses skill instead of technology and is strong minded as well. He knows he is as good as he believes he is, and he will prove it to everyone, one person at a time. My love interest would be Sharon Apple, strangely.
Slam Dunk : Slam Dunk is probably my favorite sports related anime and i could see myself being the main character of that series (cant remember his name) and i always liked how the main character is always having to prove himself again and again. I probably wouldnt have a love interest.
Golgo 13 : I would be Duke Togo (Golgo 13) because he is the best Assassin in the world and he always gets his target. I would have alot of love interests.
Gungrave : I would be Brandon Heat/Gungrave, mostly because we are very similar anyways, we both dont talk much and well reserved, and respect means alot to us. I also liked how the Revenge aspect is carried over, even after death.
I have alot of other anime titles that i could picture myself in, but these are the first ones that came to mind for now.

That's a tough one. Even though I'd love to have cool powers, if I chose any of my favorite shonen anime/manga, I'd probably get myself killed. XD
However...
It would be really cool to fly around in SAO's "Alfheim". I'd be one of the many characters that crosses paths with Kirito, and I'd be his friend/ally -- NOT a love interest.
Another world I like a lot is Pokemon, and I'd be another trainer. I'd love to have an Eevee or a Pikachu! Or a Lapras!!

Naruto...cause....reasons...
KHR! cause....reasons...
Mostly due to the awesome characters I could befriend...
BUT if I did not want to risk dying...I would choose Ouran Host Club or Tokyo Mew Mew. :D
Oooooh, that's a really hard question! I have so many worlds I would love to live in. ; w ;
I think I'd choose the world of Tegami Bachi, though. I'd probably end up being one of the poor people realistically speaking, knowing my luck, but being a Letter Bee would be so cool! *U* The uniforms are so pretty and agfhjdsgfdsj. Battling the Gaichuu would be awesome too (though scary at times, I'm sure D: ). AND I'D GET A LOYAL DINGO. DO WANT.
I have this huge crush on Gauche/Noir, so I think that'd be the obvious choice for which characters I'd love. e u e But I also love Zaji, whose gender, even to this day, is a little confusing. I'm 98% sure he's a boy, but there's always speculation that he's actually a girl, and translations in the manga have really confused the fans. LOL. AnywayIreallylikehimtoosoooo... /rolls. I'd be happy with either. And of course, I'd want to be friends with Lag, since he's just the cutest thing ever. *U* <3
I can think of two.
Pokemon - If I lived in Pokemon, the first thing I'd do is figure out where the heck Herbert and Hilda went, since they haven't made an appearance onscreen (that I know of). I could then pass myself off as Herbert's older sister and have fun raising Flaafy and Mareep on a Pokemon ranch, with my personal Pokemon being Raichu. Not to knock off Floccessy Ranch or anything, but I thought of it first!
Naruto - I'm new to Naruto, so I'm not sure what role I'd play other than acting as adopted older sister to Naruto. That way he'd always have someone to come home to after going on missions, waiting for him with a hot bowl of ramen. Cuz I'm that nice we all know how much he likes ramen.
As it's my favorite anime, ideally I'd like to live in the Slayers-verse and kinda tag along with Lina-tachi. I'd like to be a shrine maiden like Sylphiel so I'd have some skills to somewhat protect myself, but I wouldn't be as wussy and clingy to Gourry as she is; I'd make darn sure to not get on Lina's bad side. And, much as I do love him, I would not throw myself at Zelgadis. He is pretty much marked out to be with Amelia so I wouldn't romantically involve myself with him or any other of the males; I'd be more like their "wing-chick" and give 'em a slap on the back or upside the head as called for.

Ooh, so this is essentially "if you could break all the rules of good fanfiction to fulfill your anime/manga dreams, what would you do?" :D
In that case, I could see myself as a student pianist at La Corda d'Oro's Seika Academy... and hey, since it doesn't seem like Kahoko's going to end up with Kazuki (there's one book left and it comes out in America this year so I don't want spoilers!), I'll take him :D
Toriko would also be kind of cool because there's all that neat food (kind of reminds me of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, the original book, in a way). For that, I guess I could be some sort of secret agent with the IGO, but I guess the primary love interest would be the food? XD Not like my Mary Sue could safely pursue her love interest (he's poisonous after all)...
But if we can also talk about video games here, I'd be in the Zelda world as a wandering hunter or something and fall in love with Twilight Princess Link XD Or, heck, it'd be cool to be the empress of some new country made just for the fanfiction. I'd still fall in love with Link, though XD
It'd also be kind of cool to be in the Kid Icarus series as a minor goddess or a commander of one of the deities that's on friendly terms with Palutena. No romances here (unless I made up some bishie demigod or something XD), but I'd get to hang out with Pit :D

My friends and I wrote a spin-off of Tokyo Mew Mew in which we were the American version of them. Only Ryou seen in our version. The other characters were just mentioned in the story. Its not really a fanfiction though. More like a parody. lol

Character of the week for a long series filler arc, notably in One Piece, Fairy Tail & Pokemon. (Not Naruto because of how lame their filler characters are, nor Bleach as I don't trust a series that has a canon Mary-Sue character already)
Either act as a
plot device for story either enemy or friend: One Piece
rival guild member either enemy or friend: Fairy Tail
Pokemon League Trainer: Pokemon
If there is any romance I'll stick with the female members of Fairy Tail

I've always wanted to live in the anime Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu cause it all looks so fun!
I would want to probably take the place of....hm...probably Hideyoshi. Probably cause he's my favorite character next to Shouko (*never had any respect for Yuuko and possibly never will*) He doesn't really have a love interest, but that's fine. uwu

Although it's probably not a good idea to pick a Gundam World. The average lifespan of an unnamed character is one episode and that's being generous and any interaction with a lead character is a guaranteed death sentence. The more angst ridden the lead character, the more likely you are to die.

BOUNCE!

Ah, you stole mine, Bossman.
But yeah, I would want to be in DBZ.
I'd probably be a Saiyan that was away from the planet when it exploded, no wait, I'd be my OC, Talok.
Except I come back.
Other than that, I was thinking being in Baka & Test, School Rumble, something funny yet dramatic.

Even though I'd love to have cool powers,
if I chose any of my favorite shonen anime/manga, I'd probably get myself killed.XDHowever...

I would wanna be a Wiggin or Hajike master in Bobobo-bobobo. The power of comedy is truly unstoppable in the right hands.

Oooooh, that's a really hard question! I have so many worlds I would love to live in. ; w ;

Cuz
I'm that nicewe all know how much he likes ramen.cougarsama

I would have to say... I would be in Trigun. I would be the girl that helps Wolfwood in his travels and stuff, being his super-sidekick friend who helped him defeat his enemies. And, of course, I'd love Wolfwood.
