Definitelly YuYu Hakusho 2 *I love this anime so much, i've watched it for like..5 times* , Mirai nikki 2 *The story MUST continue*, Elfen Lied *OMG, that ending..is incomplette xD buth i don't like the ending in the manga*
My dream anime sequel would have to be Yu-Gi-Oh GX season 5. I didn't really like how season 4 ended with Judai running off in the middle of nowhere. Where was he going? Where did he go on his travels? I just didn't care for how it ended. I would like to find out what happens to Judai and his friends after Duel Academy. It just kind of leaves it hanging. I wish there was a 5th season of Yu-Gi-Oh GX. I really enjoyed that series of Yu-Gi-Oh. 5D's was good too. But the original series of Yu-Gi-Oh was the best.
Another anime that needs another season is Kaleido Star. I mean it had a "good" ending but it wasn't great. I would like to find out what happened to Rosetta. Did she get to perform the Legendary Great Maneuver with Sora? Why could she see the fool? I mean Sora saw the Fool from the first episode and that was explained but why can Rosetta see him? I really enjoyed Kaleido Star though. It was a great anime but I wish there was a 3rd season.
I have a couple ideas on how they could, the obvious one being Roger Smith discovers that there was a reset by have a latent memory of the event, sort of like deja vu, and working to discover the truth behind everything.
id like the fruitbasket. few wouldnt. or 12 kingdoms, that had soo much more going for it. petshop of horrors (spelling error i know) the manga was great and theres alot more material they could do. how about Kinos Jurney. would be fun too.
The only thing about more Slayers is they're starting to play into too much cookie cutter stuff (Pokota was the quintessential animal mascot, the equal of Kon in Bleach.) But I'd like to see Lina-tachi face off against Beastmaster Xellas or the other two remaining Monster Generals.
I would LOVE a re-make of the Tsubasa anime(seriously, all the fillers need to go and be replaced with the ACTUAL STORY IN THE MANGA; This is what happens when animes are made before the manga is done)
Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy anime adaptations would be nice, actually!
And by FF adaptations, I mean the ACTUAL GAMES, not spin-offs of them(I've been particularly daydreaming of a Dissidia anime myself, actually >_>).
I have a pretty medium-sized list:
A good remake of "Code Lyoko" (I hear they are already working on that.)

A redo of "Shaolin Showdown"
(Wow, Cartoon Network was good back then.)
Since there doesn't seem to be a DECENT remake of "Dragon Ball Z", I just hope that they make better movies...
OOH, "Spirited Away 2" sounds good! I loved that movie.
I also want to know what happened after the first "Steamboy", that movie left me so on-edge. I was in tears at the end.
Yami no Matsuei. >3> Even though the manga has stopped mid-arc...there has still been so many more volumes to the manga...so many more stories that could've been animated! 13 episodes wasn't enough! Same with Loveless. Let's face it; I just want more BL.

I'd also love to see sequels to Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Summer Wars, and Tales From Earthsea.
OH MY GOSH! I would defiently LOOOOOVE to see a Clover anime! I love Clover sososoooo much, it would be absolutely awesome to see an anime of it!

I'd be down for a KH anime. :D
Actually, I want a real continuation anime of Kid Icarus Uprising! It translates so well into anime episodes, and the promotional short films they released are awesome.
In terms of Miyazaki sequels, I want a sequel to Howl's Moving Castle. The original book did have a sequel - so it's already set up and everything.
*gasps* I don't think I watched the first movie!!! How could I let such a thing to happen!?! *runs home and watches movie*
Thanks for inadvertently informing me about my oversight XD
Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Japanese sub rather than english dub. There are some good english voice actors out there, but usually I only like the movies rather than the actual shows. It feels too overdone. Like they're trying to make themselves sound like little kids. Most of the japanese voices seem, I don't know, more mature maybe? Am I deluding myself?
FURUBA!!!
And Full Metal Panic season 4...
And DEFINITELY more Slayers...There isn't enough. Seriously.
And, and, I want more Sekirei...
Oh! Oh! And I would make more Sora no Otoshimono!!!
I definitely agree with those who mentioned Baccano!. I believe that they were going to continue the series (based on the fact that in the first episode when Isaac's ear was cut by a girl with a spear, there were a lot of characters from later on in the Light Novels), but it do too well in Japan so it never got a second season.
I was hoping the popularity of Durarara!! might generate newfound interest in Baccano! (they share the same creator and a lot of similar elements), but I probably shouldn't hold my breath.

While a Spirited Away 2 would be interesting, I can also see it being very depressing. Considering the fact that they were 'trapped' with the spirits for so long, they would have had no home to go to, and more than likely everyone they knew would have been dead or grown old.
http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m9cnwnyxlJ1qk9xfgo1_500.png - The beginning vs the ending scene.
Considering I'm reading the manga right now, it's an easy call for me: Gunslinger Girl.
While it did have two seasons, 13 episodes each, plus a 2 ep. OVA, those later stories in the manga seriously needs to be animated. I mean, c'mon, the action in chapter 61 onwards rivals anything done in a Michael Mann film or even Luc Besson's Leon: The Professional. And that's not even to speak of the larger story, of which the first two seasons only touched the surface.

I'm really excited for the DVD release, but sadly, Tiger lacks his spark in the English dub. I'll watch it once through (rather painfully) just to get it over with, and then back to the Japanese for me. LOL. At least Barnaby sounds amazing. <3 I hope they don't mess up Sky High! OTL
I believe that the second movie has to do with Ouroboros, so that'll be interesting at least. ; o ;
I'd actually like if they didn't have a Panty and Stocking Season 2. The ending would be the perfect troll move and would have Gainax being perfectly aware of their nature.

Baccano's light novels continue the story until the late 2000's and the BECK manga extends the story until the band plays in England and Greatful Sound again. Two of the best mangas I've had the pleasure to read.
Furuba for sure! I want to see everyone get hugged without turning into an animal.
I really want to see Nanoha StrikerS dubbed. I loved Nanoha and A's, and it's my favorite magical girl series.
A Pokemon spinoff from the games would be awesome! If it could focus on Hilda, Herbert, and N, as well as Team Plasma. Sorry, Ash. I just want the anime to be more like the game... which has all my favorite characters. And, they totally screwed up the latest season by having you get your Gym badge in Virbank. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE ICIRRUS CITY!!!
1. FRUITS BASKET (seriously needs to be continued)
2. Code Geass (need more awesomeness)
3. Tsubasa (also needs to be fixed seriously for this and Fruba the animators should have at least waited till the manga finished so they could at least be on the same track instead of massacring an amazing story.) (fruba was at least OK though not like poor tsubasa)
Thats all i can think of for now.
Definitely Fruits Basket! The manga is completed now, so they have enough material to make a second season, I think. I would love to see the rest of the manga come to life in the anime!

I would love Cowboy Bebop cause soo many questions were left unanswered.
Another one that would be cool is Outlaw Star if anyone remembers that one. It would be fun to set it a few years after the end and see where everyone is at in life.
Trinity Blood would be nice, but since the creator of the anime passed away I don't think it would be the same.

Right now, continuations where the anime leaves off and the manga continues are on my mind for this topic, meaning I'd like to see Katekyo Hitman Reborn! continued, as well as GA Geijutsuka Art Design Class and La Corda d'Oro. Seeing what happens in an ARIA the ANIMATION sequel could be neat, too, considering how ARIA the ORIGINATION ended.
There was always debate about if Lelouch was dead or not...because he might have gained C.C.'s powers....And Nunnally got a flash of what Lelouch did when she touched him...which is what happened when Suzaku touched C.C.
And I want to SEE Haji alive. I want to see him and Saya together.
You should cover up spoiler for people who may not have seen either anime.
Princess Tutu season 3. Yeah, it was finished, but I do remember hearing that there was a plan for a third season.
Ghost Hunt just because it was left unfinished.
Fruits Basket. The source material is finished and goes far beyond the anime.
Pandora Hearts. Left unfinished and the source material has a load more to it.
Oh, yes, SPIRITED AWAY 2!
Also, maybe a Kingdom Hearts anime? Based on the games, manga, and novels with it's own twist? I'd really love to see Mickey animated in the Japanese style. B)
Oh, and a Pokemon spin-off, based more closely to the games and having it's demographic audience being more of the teens than young children.
Code Geass: Lelouch did die; Suzuku (as Zero) ran him through because he'd told him to.
Blood +: Haji's alive because in the final scene Kai sees the rose lying by the entrance to Saya's tomb. And yeah, it'd be cute to see if Kai's been raising Diva's twins to be good.

Fruits Basket and Ghost Hunt!
The FB manga went way further story-wise than the anime, and it would just be nice to see the rest of it given animation. The Ghost Hunt anime stopped toward the end of the manga, leaving off a rather huge plot point and what I think was one of the best “ghost story” arcs, so I’d love to see that finished up. And a GH manga sequel just started, so they could cover that, too!
Without a doubt my dream sequel would be a second season/series to The Legend of the Legendary Heroes. There are several more series of light novels - if what I hear is accurate, the direct sequel though is called The Great Legend of the Legendary Heroes in novel format. So, more stuff actually already exists for that series, it's just a matter of it becoming an anime.
I would also love some closure to Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. Ideally it would pick up after the second season and fill in missing information around the OVA's as well as actually end the story.
If I had to do a sequel, then my top priority would be those anime series that ended abruptly without having settled its plot at all.
With that in mind, I would ask for a sequel to the Rurouni Kenshin anime series. Sure, the OVAs did bring in the Jinchuu arc, but the staff modified the story in several ways. As such, the sequel would essentially be focused on the Jinchuu arc. Some episodes would be devoted to reminding the audiences of what Kenshin had done in the past arcs, but again the sequel would still focus on that last arc. By then, fans of the anime would finally have that long-delayed closure for the anime series.

@MewChero:

Code Geass: I want to know if Lelouch is alive!
KHR: The manga goes a lot further. :I
Blood+: I want to see more of the characters...and see Saya wake up and see her nieces all grown up. AND SEE IF HAJI IS REALLY ALIVE

I think the holy grail of anime sequels would be Cowboy Bebop, and I'd certainly love to see more of what is easily one of the Top 10 anime ever.
I'd also really love to see a sequel to Trinity Blood, because it just ended with so much more it could potentially tell.

Personally, I'd like to see a sequel to C-Control and Kimi to Boku, which didn't seem finished.

They really should redo DTB 2. Why did they wreck it in the first place?? And bring Yoko Kanno back to do the music! :D

I would want a season 3 for Darker Than Black. And I would demand that they finally explain some stuff in that season!
P.S. I would also love for Kekkaishi to be finished.

How about remakes? I would redo all of Darker Than Black season 2.
;____; I think for anyone who has watched it, the reasons are obvious.
But I'd also make a Tiger & Bunny sequel! An actual anime, though. Not just movies. D':

I'd like to see an Angel Beats sequel.
I also want a Panty & Stocking sequel but I've heard rumors that there'll be one at the end of this year. But then again, those are only rumors.

I guess my dream anime sequel would be a sequel to Gundam SEED Destiny. At the very least there should be a movie done.
Either that, or I'd do a sequel to Full Metal Panic. Because that was pretty much left unfinished.
The greatest fear is that of the unknown.
