Noooo~ I'm gonna miss Fairy Tail. I remember reading it way back when onemanga.com was still alive. I didn't really keep up with the anime though until Funimation got hold of it in English.
My bad. I thought never end filler arcs would clench it, but I guess there's too many anime are packed with filler and preservatives. Sorry :P
The anime we don't talk about is the one about Ninjas. Even though its manga is packed with awesome, the anime filler makes it a complete train wreck and difficult to recommend for anyone to watch.
Exactly! There's nothing worse than a series that keeps going long after it's interesting. I have deep respect for artists like Bill Watterson who quit while they're ahead, knowing that they could still make money off their creation at the price of producing third-rate work.
There is something to be said for a series that knows when it has made it good and calls it quits rather than plunging into the idiocy which is filler and stupid storylines. Fairy Tale is ending, but it's going to stay quite popular long after.
Short Peace has a lot huge talent behind it, I'll definitely give a try.
Fairy Tail feels like it just started and already its caught up to the manga in a couple of short years. Of course they could go into endless filler like that anime that shall not be named, but it letting end on a good arc leaves room to be completed later... hopefully.
I'm really want D.Gray-Man and Air Gear to get fully animated someday since they chose to stop the story instead of ending.

Short peace seems to have some pretty nice animation and a clever use of CG effects.
Now that Fairy Tail has come to an end, maybe it is time for me to finally start it.. xD

So Naruto and One Piece are the last ones standing...well it's better than filler arcs that don't make sense...
Thank you for the news!
