The political situation in some areas over there is strained, to put it mildly. With western nations having interests and alliances in that region, I hope nothing major comes of any of it. Here's hoping diplomacy (and not punitive measures like sanctions) works itself out.
Flowers of Evil has to be one of the most contested anime around - and it's only been one episode. It could be interesting.
I've also picked up Yahari and Leviathan (though, there's been no mention of Hobbes in the latter, so far). The former seems interesting enough, and the latter is average, so far. In any case, none of them made me feel like throwing my laptop though my TV, so I'm fairly pleased.
I'm not sure about other people, but the China-Japan conflict really worries me, mostly because it stems from a territorial dispute. And in case others don't know, my homeland (Philippines) is also involved in a territorial dispute with China.
Connect the dots and you'll see how this becomes a cause of concern for me if it escalates even further.

I wish I could have a little figurine of myself. :3 But I probably wouldn't pay $500. I might just have a friend make a less accurate chibi version out of sculpey.
Also, regarding Roger Ebert, I found this amazing tribute by Doug Walker, a.k.a. the Nostalgia Critic. I know Doug Walker may never see this message, but in my humble opinion, he is the man who went back and took the coup de grace shot after Roger Ebert had riddled a film with holes and shoved it in a prison for life. Mr. Walker has just as much passion for the art of cinema as his now late predecessor. Where Ebert cannot be, the Nostalgia Critic will find a way to arrive and show us why good films are good and bad films are bad.

Woo... that custom figure thing is neat! It'd be cool to cosplay and then get a figure of it, methinks :D Pretty pricey, though, but such is the technology.

The new live-action film of black butler reminds me a bit of Alucard and integra's story...
Thank you for the news!
