I see. As I don't really go in for a lot of stuff approaching ecchi (panty shots and such are a turn-off), I guess nothing I've ever owned or own would be a problem. And speaking of the marijuana laws, in Washington where I live, you can possess up to an ounce, but no more.
As much as I would really want to spend some time discussing the Japanese bill pertaining to the ban on manga supposedly depicting child pornography (which was not explicitly defined in the said bill), the problem here is that it becomes a bit pointless.
For most of us, Japan isn't our country. So whatever we do or say, our opinions are likely to remain unheard by these politicians. It's the opinions of the Japanese that would matter more, because this is their law and, thus, their concern.

There's some pretty awesome and pretty sad news for this week. 8I I'm very interested to see the Kiki's Delivery Service live action though *U*
On that note, I'm also very confused about the Supernatural anime release? I thought it was released a long time ago? I have it on DVD upstairs on my shelf... LOL.

I have great respect for anyone who even attempts the Isle of Man TT race, you're literally traveling at 200mph on a Superbike down Country roads surrounded by stone walls & trees with no barriers to stop you and roads that have dips & crests with the only protection is the leather suit & the crash helmet. The Isle of Man is a small island off the coast of the United Kingdom and the race itself is shown live on UK TV. On-board footage of any bike rider is breathtaking and scary.
RIP Yoshinari Matsushita
From what I can tell, the current Japanese child pornography laws regarding manga are much like the marijuana laws of Colorado. It's straight up illegal if the pornography is real. In manga form, however, it is not technically a crime, though it can have consequences. It can be removed from your person in extreme circumstances with possible remediation, but no punishment or fine can be invoked. The amendment would not only allow for jail time and a fine of 1 million yen for possession of any sorts, but also heavily curtail online distribution and production of any underage pornographic manga.

Didn't the current manga law already cover the sexualization of children? I can't remember what that stuff covered.
Read the new Umineko manga volume; man, that's creepier than I remember from the anime. Wish they'd release the anime. I read it at my local Barnes and Noble, but didn't think to check for new DRRR, or maybe they didn't have it. I bought vol. 1 of the Saika arc because it covers Shizuo's backstory, which I love. I mean, talk about having a tough time fitting in as a kid when not having any special powers; just that his brain isn't wired to protect his body.

@ChibiSasuke:
The release schedule was a little wonky this week. Either it's an American rerelease or an Australian release of the series.

Small correction: In the oldest man alive story, it should read 19th century, not 18th century.
