This venture with that particular OC was the first time I ever made a cross-over story...and the first time I've ever made a Triple Cross-Over story, so maybe it can help with fleshing those out in the future.
I'll actually be pushing my comfort zone a bit and posting a few of the cringey little-kid OCs at some point during the month. (The "First OC", obviously, but also a couple others.) Maybe I can make them look a little more shiny and nice, as Kita said. It's a fun exercise!

Like HametsuKuro, most of my OCs are for stories I've written over the years, so I have way too many. XD That's one of the reasons I really enjoy OCtober -- most years, I try to include as many characters as I can so that the ones that don't get as much attention have nice, shiny, new pictures. This year, I want to especially focus on neglected characters that might only have one or two decent pieces of artwork.
Really looking forward to seeing everyone's characters this OCtober!

I have a plethora of OCs due to all the stories I've written to make into comics. I want to say I have around 100 or so main/secondary/supporting characters and many more minor/background characters. These all span across 8 stories, each in their own universes.
My first OC was Yuna Doushi (in the 3rd bottom panel) back in 2002. She and the rest of the cast she's from was formed to make Life with Love and Magic, an originally penciled comic of a 7th grader, in 2004. She and her sisters were originally inspired by me and my two close friends back in middle school.
I made a really weird story with a new OC sometime last year (it was during quarantine, I was really bored and really into this new anime) but I never shared the story or the drawings on here.

Saturn Sakura is my first OC and internet persona. She's from a book that a friend and I cowrote in elementary - high school.

It sounds like a tangled web, but an intriguing one nonetheless. ^-^

Experimenting is always good. Who's to say that character won't give you a spark of inspiration for an improved story down the line? ;)

@HametsuKuro:
It'd be funny to just write it all out as practice, but I'm long past that.

No shame in that! There are lots of old stories and OCs that I made and cringe at myself XD I'm also glad I never shared some of them, too!

It was probably for the better.
