Well, I WAS going to post this news myself, but my Internet connection didn't cooperate yesterday. For some reason, my connection would access all sites EXCEPT theOtaku, myOtaku, and OtakuBoards.
That's why when I learned Sangome got it first, I went WAAHHH!!!
Anyway, I'm a bit excited about this special since the two are legendary names in modern anime. For now, let me make myself busy on catching up on Detective Conan (I still have a long way to go).
Having a cross-over between characters of separate anime in one Anime doesn't seem to often be a main premise for an Anime event, but this should be fun!
If it's truly a conflict between Lupin III and Detective Conan, my money's on Lupin III.
You know, in hindsight, I'm surprised this wasn't made a lot earlier than it is. I mean, this is one of the few crossover stories that makes contextual sense for all involved. In short, this looks interesting.
In the beginning of the 11th movie they have the two-bit criminals dressed as Lupin III and Fujiko masks and all. Miwako catches them and then confesses how Lupin III was her first crush. LOL fangirl what?
