The new Marvel movies as they are are really setting up Nick Fury as a very important pin in the whole universe. To not get Sam Jackson would be a massive shame.
I'm definitely hoping for a good resolution to this one. We don't want another Terrence Howard situation.

I'm sure the role of Nick Fury in the upcoming "Avengers" film will turn out alright, with or without Samuel L. Jackson playing it.

In a positive light, it's not like we really need more comic book remakes. Now the writers can come up some actually original ideas.
