No not Toonami! But I watched since I was in the third grade. OKAY you happy CN you killed my a old memories! I didn't have cable for a while because its boring. You cant just chose what you want to watch. Hence anime! Saves the day always! I mean I'm the age people on Disney channel would expect to watch there borning shows. I watch it subbed now cause I was young and didnt know the episodes are one the internet. But once i got my cable back I was like next week Ill watch it and when I did it wasnt on.Then I found out it wasnt airing before I got it back!
And there goes the last hope that CN was better than Nick. Seriously, what is happening to anime distribiution in American TV? I'll tell you what. The hellish 4Kids is gaining all the flippin' screentime and the only hope for CN is the overhyped, overpowering and overdone Naruto. They also haven't even begun to dub Shippuuden (god hope they do a good job). And what about FUNimation? It's grittier, stronger, more emotional and overall better. FUNimation really needs to step up and scream in CN's face saying "PUT OUR SHOWS ON OR YOU'RE GOING TO FAIL!!!" Okay, that's my rant for the day.
Sometimes I get so depressed when Saturday hits. I'll catch myself thinking, "Ok, I've gotta get to the TV soon so I don't miss Toonami." Then I remember that it's gone.. Sigh, I don't even watch Cartoon Network anymore. There's never anything good on. It's sad to look at where the station came from and compare it to where it is now. I can't believe what this generation is watching. It's no wonder it seems like every generation gets worse. Look at what they're growing up with.
It is indeed sad... Toonami may be gone, but some are trying to keep it alive. Here: http://z10.invisionfree.com/Toonami_Revolution/index.php?
Yes, it's not Toonami, but they are hoping to at least have some part of Toonami live on through Toonami Revolution.
Cartoon Network just wants to make more room for their own crap. Heaven help us, next they'll be whittling down Adult Swim. Oh wait, they're already doing that.
well, there goes part of my childhood. it's a bit depressing really, i remember running home from school to watch different animes on it. i will agree with a previous responder that unfortunately, cartoon network did this to themselves, and i cans see them going down in the near future. why? simply because they are moving away from cartoons that interest people and the fact that they no longer have the anime outlet is also going to be a downfall on their part. RIP toonami, i still have u in my heart.
Toonami's end? That was the best, worth waiting to watch... Live-action on Cartoonnetwork? That's not right.. Isn't for cartoons, hence the CARTOONnetwork?? Sad :[
Now Jetstream? What has the world come to??
Well I guess you can say that if Cartoon Network has problems keeping themselves alive they have to realize they did it to themselves. The shows Toonami supplied brought in a huge fanbase and now that that's gone, so will the ratings. We had our reign and now the new generation of kids (*twitch*) will never have one of the greatest things to ever happen to the network. Shame really. We can't even have heirs -_-

ug, this is so sad. Cartoon network is dying! They've replaced anything worth watching with live action and absurdity. I'm very sad to hear this news :(

This is partly why I don't watch CN as much anymore. Mostly the slow but painful demise of Toonami just... yeah.
