This is pretty much the same as what they've been doing with releasing the new Hellsing series: same characters, same story, just sticking closer to the actual manga and maybe re-working the animation a bit. Oh well, anything to help out the industry.

As big of an anime fan and as big of a collection i have, Im sad to say that i JUST watched my volume 1 dvd of Full Metal Alchemist last week. It was my first exposure to the series, and im sorry to say that im kicking myself for waiting so long to see it lol. I found it quite enjoyable and im hoping to watch more of it pretty soon, thats for sure. Now i can see what all the buzz was about when this series came out lol.
