It depends on what style of romanization you use. In this case the 'n' comes before a 'b,' which means it's pronounced as an 'm,' so it's often romanized that way. It's the same sort of thing as senpai vs sempai.

It should be "shinbun"; n, not m.
But really, that sucks most heartily. I like Japan's video games!
