wow, that's sad...I'm a fan of the old, retro Sonic from Genesis, it was the first console we ever had.

I hope they can at least hold on as a software company.

as a kid who remembers when sega was actually good, this makes me sad. for all of u dissing sonic the hedgehog, i suggest u all go back and buy a sega genesis and see how awesome that system was. while dreamcast wasn't the best, dead or alive was a great series, it's sad to see them go down. i miss sonic...and believe it or not people, sonic the hedgehog was a great franchise, it even spawned two different cartoons (tho i will say disney butchered it, the other, i can't recall who did it, was great) i watched them when i WAS FIVE!! i'm seventeen now! ugh...i miss those days

It might just have to, but to be fair all the recent sonic games haven't been that good. I mean come one a were-hog, what were they thinking? Now there sending sonic to the past and giving him a sword. Let's face it, they ran out of good ideas long ago.
