If people are really that upset that it's licensed and that now they won't have a chance to less-unreasonably watch the fansub of it... it's a one-episode OVA and it's been out for months. Really, they've no one to blame but themselves for not getting on top of things when they had the chance.
Otherwise, if people are just upset that they'll dub it and edit it and ruin the holy purity that is Lucky Star... well, seeing as they already licensed the main series... the point's kinda moot, really.
