Ugh, the movie. "Edward"'s hair looks like he passed through a hurricane. "Bella" = no emotion. Biology scene was hilarious, overacted, and ridiculous. Ending fight was unintentionally laughable. Action was faker than Hillary Clinton dressed up as Sora on Halloween.

No, just no. Twilight isn't that good of a book series. Granted the first book was good, but the other three that follow were just trash. After all, I have been reading the books before people even knew what twilight was. Then comes the fourth book where people started obsessing over it, I just couldn't understand why people like it. The first book alone is good as a stand alone, but as a series, not so great. Looking at it from the view of a writer, the other three were not as great and probably wirtten just for a quick buck. Then the moive wasn't that great either. Besides the horrible choices of actors, well most were horrible, the movie itself seemed just like a string of random events. Even the parts they kept from the book wasn't all that great. Sure it had it's moments, but other then that, it practically a sin against nature.
The best part about it, since this is just an opinion, nobody can hate on me for it.

I really hope with like my entire being that this isn't going to get a bunch of people who are those annoying Twilight fans into anime and then they'll all think that they like anime or something like you said.

I read the books. I liked them, but I'm not an avid fan of it. And the thought of bringing the whole fandom into the anime world is totally not cool D| Granted, I will at least try to watch the anime ONLY because it's anime and I can't say no to that...
Well, I think it will work at least a little better in anime form than live-action. I didn't see the movie, but I did hear about Edward's "sparkles"....just try to be optimistic. ^_^;
Why must it invade everywhere? It's like there is no way to escape from it!! Was the movie even that good that it should be translated to an anime????!!! I think not! Believe me, I say this as an original fan of Twilight. I liked it when the first book had just come out. It was interesting, but not the best written thing I have ever read. Why........just jave to dig myself into a hole to escape from it....
