Yeah. One Pound Gospel got kinda old fast. (It didn't help that I didn't understand why they were starving the boy before fights.) But otherwise I'm a huge fan of Takahashi-sensei. This is going to be fun!
Haha that sounded kind of mean ^_^; It says that I'm outside of the region actually, so I took it to mean that it was only available in the US and Japan.
Knowing Takahashi the plot is definitely going to get more interesting. I know that her mange series tend to be longer, but hey, you can't deny that Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha are ingenious plot lines (not really a fan of One Pound Gospel). Who else could pull that kind of humor and amount of OMG's into a story? Loves to Takahashi. I am already sucked in....
Wow. I am so waiting for the Otaku.com podcast where they review the news and point out AkaiAme's comment mentioned she'd love to read the manga that's online, but can't cause she's in Scotland. I'm sorry they don't have the Internets in Scotland AkaiAme.
It does kinda remind me a little of Bleach, (strawberry-head sort of shinigami) but that doesn't mean anything. I love Bleach and Inu. Anyway, it's pretty good. Definetly one of Takahashi-sensei's, but since that's true, the story-line will undoubtedly get better. =D
Aaaaw, I would have like to read it (even though I don't like reading manga online, I much prefer buying the actual manuscript in the shops) but it's not available in Scotland (or England probably). I haven't actually read any of Rumiko Takahashi's manga though, so I thought I'd give it a quick look but oh well, if it ever gets published over here in manuscript form I'll take a look.
I actually think this will be interesting. Although her storylines do tend to get a bit repetitive the longer the series goes (anyone else sick of Naraku escaping, or Inuyasha deciding between Kikyo and Kagome?), they often have the ability to pull the reader in.
Besides, I have a thing for works that include shinigami.
It's okay. Very cliche though. For one, the girl's name is Sakura. Let's see, that's only the two-hundreth anime chick to be named Sakura. Second, the strong silent type is obviously there in Rokudo-kun and it's seems like he'll be a lead, though unlike past Takahashi works, the female is now the protagonist. But really, more shinagame? Thirdly, the entire manga looked like a LSD dream. Good or not, I can't tell though it might help for the story. I'm expecting many past Takahashi references will pop up. If you're a Takahashi fan, by all means go crazy. If not, use caution. May not be for you.

I agree, it's nice just to see anime and even manga available for free online in a completely legit way for once. I'll definitely keep up with the manga; after all, it's not like I have to pay. :3
As far as the story itself, well... hard to say so far. It's only one chapter. lol
But luckily I didn't get any "THIS IS COPYING BLEACH" vibes, so that's good. It may be about shinigami, but like Rokudo said, only "sort of".
I just read the first chapter. If that is anything to go by I think this will basically be InuYasha meets Bleach.
That beeing said, I am going to keep reading it. I mean, even if it was familiar, so far at least, it is by no means bad.
Besides, I am glad to see more and more people putting anime and manga on-line legitimately like this. For that reason I will defiantly continue to follow this series. Even if it might not be my favorite, I want to support this trend and prove to the companies that this is a good idea.
