CPM also originally owned the rights to Slayers. Well, thank heavens Funi got it before now. I also own the Lodoss OVA (the one with 13 episodes) and I like that one.
This is too sad. I hope the economy turns around soon. Yet the only thing that seems to keep annoyingly running through my mind is this stupid song. "Another One Bites the Dust!"
"There are some possessions that must never be sold for all the fortunes of the world."
Hopefully, more Anime titles whose U.S. release are by CPM (counting the forgoten ones of course) will have a re-relesae ASAP.
Plus, it did showcase a number of great Sci-Fi/Action epics, like "Harlock Saga" (which I own on DVD) and "The Silent Service", and I'm hoping to still find "Maetel Legend" on DVD in the Video stores after CPM's death.
Thats really sad :( I have alot of anime titles in my anime collection that were released by Central Park Media - Both Record of Lodoss War series, Revolutionary Girl Utena, The anime films Battle Arena Toshinden, Roujin Z, The original Patlabor series, and a few more. Central Park Media was really a place that released some quality and diverse anime titles, and i always enjoyed that.

Although, if this allows another company to get the license to Utena so we get a new re-release... It is sad to see them go under though.
