Care for spoilers? Well, in the anime remeber how Homonculi are formed when alchemist try to bring people back from the dead, well in the Manga is "Father" who is connected with Hoenheim's past and the homonculi came from him and each one is a part of "Father's" personality. Sloth, Wrath, and Pride are different peoples in the manga from anime (but the Feure is still one of them...it made it hard for me at first while I talked to my manga-friend when I had only seen the anime lol Envy is pretty much the same except for that little bit of his origin ^^

Yeah, Ling and Mei and the Panda are so awesome The first anime was under production while the manga was still coming out (well the manga still is X3) and so they went a different route so a lot of things follow different laws and such, like how the homonculi are different.
yay for envy!!! ilove fma and their brotherhood series is a perfect way to retell the storie

FUNimation's video streaming site practically has everything that's aired in Japan subbed to watch of it! I got to read the FMA mangas this summer and enjoyed it more than the anime (first for me, I usually like the animes better--but the plots are so different they're like two different stories here!) and Brotherhood is about to get to the Xing characters (big reason why I like the manga better) I'm so excited :D
