I am not all that much of an otaku these days either ~ Laughs ~ I used to be really into anime when I first found it on TV's here (say 2002 maybe) but then I have sort of stopped watching it as much before. I went to the con mostly to say I had been to one (I have been a member of this site for a while and a lot of people I used to know had been to one so when I knew there was one here it was 'I have to go so I can prove I belong here lol') that and it gave me an excuse to draw. I don't do that much either but I felt I should so did that too. I hope there is a chance for you to see a con sometime. The one I had was really great, filled with people liek those on here, nice and friendly. I loved it. Do you know if there are any local clubs or anything about anime?

Nope that costume was for a genrel party, the people who i went with don't get anime and manga at all!! That sounds cool, my nearest library would never be that cool, seriously. Nope i aint never been to one, i would like to if there was one near me but i wouldnt travel distances to go one because i wouldnt say i'm a otaku, i'd just say i like anime (: if you get me?

As for Yorkshire there are a good few actually. There was a convention not that long ago in my home time and there were like 100 people there, though it was in the library so it is a fair bet a few just went to kill time and all that, but it was nice ~ Nods ~ You ever been to any conventions?

Nah it's OK.
Acutally, it's not ALWAYS hot. In the winter it can freeze, and last February we got school off for two days because of all the ice.

It's already feeling like summer though. Today it was 100 degrees outside (F) and that wasn't with the heat index (which basically means that the real air temperature was 100, and the humidity made it feel even more hot, so to us it felt like 108.).

And I'm not used to the humid weather-I come from Arizona/California, so I'm used to it being 102 degrees (F) in Arizona (in August) and it feels nice, because it's just dry and there's actually wind. Wind that doesn't make it feel hotter.

..............Does it actually snow in the winter where you live?

(Im' not one to talk, though. I expected to see everyone wearing cowboy hats when I stepped off the plane 4 1/2 years ago. I saw none.)

But yeah, there ARE people with ranches, but I live in a pretty big city, and nobody has one IN San Antonio. I'm pretty sure when teenagers aren't wearing shirts with Texas sports teams on them, they think they live in California.
(SO. MUCH. HOLLISTER.)

...And (I'm not trying to sound racist) there's a lot of people who are from Mexico (legally. And some are like their parents or grandparents.)

There's only three white kids in my 8th period, and there's only 12 kids total.
