I'm 100% behind Kinuma-san for the tutorial idea. I, a person who seems to be overwhelmed by the thought of coloring my drawings, would love to see it done step by step. Especially by someone of your caliber. Instead of learning mistakes, I could possibly learn advanced tips.
Your artwork is amazing but I cannot learn anything from it. I don't have the slightest clue how I should start studying it. D: Usually when I find an artist I like, I look for something they are doing in particular that I may need to incorporate in my own art. Studying other artists' work is a great way to improve your own, so I've been told. I guess you could say that's the reason I'm all for a tutorial from you. :]
Yeah I've used the wonderful Wacom tablets before, and I spotted a Wacom Bamboo for about $150 so I hope to get that soon. I really wanted the Wacom Intuos3 but I figured I'd wait on that and get the cheaper one first. (They're both made by Wacom so its good either way.) Also, I know that the pen tool on PS can be used to create good lines and such in place of a tablet, but I like the pressure sensivity of the tablets.
As for questions, uh maybe just stuff on coloring and such. Do you scan a picture first then photoshop it or do you just draw on the computer? Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Like for a tutorial, it would be cool to see you do a simple drawing and the steps from beginning sketch to final colors and details.
Well, definitely get a tablet of some sort. I was actually planning on making a tutorial showing how I use photoshop. I might get around to it later on today, or sometime this week. Once I do I will send you the link to it (Should be a video tutorial).
In the meantime, what do you want to know? Is there any questions about photoshop I can answer right now? :3
Cool, I figured the art was the same. Well, I'm glad you got him/her. I really like your art (both the old and the new). Do you have any pointers for using photoshop? I plan to get photoshop soon and I've used it before in an art class and photography class, but it's been a couple years so I forgot some of it.
I believe..that was an art thief I found a long LONG time ago(Judging by the art and how old they are, plus, they are from my DA account). I remember coming to this site (Twice), because a friend of mine said my art was being posted. She/he probably ran off after I sent him/her a private message.
Either way, yeah, that's my art D: Ohlawd, I can't even look at it. Lol.
Wow, I'm loving your new art. By the way, did you happen to have an old account on here before?? (Izanami Katsumi, by chance?) 'Cause I've talked to her/you before but then one day she dropped off theO. I saw your art and it reminded me of hers. Well, either way hope we can be friends, and if you want you can drop by my portfolio though I've mostly got OLD stuff uploaded right now. I plan to post new stuff soon.
