First of all thank you for the sub and the amazing comment on my Arrietty wallpaper. That made my day. I'm a pro? Well there are a lot of people who are better than me at making wallpapers. It took me along time to master the art of making a decent wallpaper and I had tons of help over the years.

Well I will be happy to give you some advice for making a wallpaper. First of all some basics to remember is
1.always use high resolution/high quality images.
2. Don't clutter your wallpaper with text. Use small text and sometimes text isn't necessary.
Those are a couple basics I can think of. When I think of some more,I will let you know.
