Your art is very very very very very...gasp...very very very good! I love your use of shadowing! I always wanted to make my art have that dark effect to it...I´m trying to practice it right now but it is slowly failing. But you...YOU are an expert in that field. Omg! I used to read Dear Boys manga years ago translated into my language! Hiroki Yagami's style influenced my drawings a little, I love his semi realistic style~ I prefer Slam Dunk's story though. I'll try and look for Hakushaku to Yosei, the Edgar bish looks hot *_* thanks for recommending!

Thank you! I'm still learning too. What I do is I look at any drawings that I like and observe and try to apply the same tech to my drawings. There are TONS of tutorials you can download, and I learn some from tutorials. Try drawing portrait with pencils, it helps you to understand the forms and the contours of the face. Life drawing is good too =D

My mistake was doing my works last minute so I never really paid attention to structures and the flow of shading strokes. Until I compared mine with my new classmates..I must say I was pretty embarrassed because I'm not up to standard. So I took longer hours to finish a portrait instead of just 1 hour. I'm happy I improved. the key is to observe carefully.

I still think that I have a lot of flaws though and I'm pretty harsh with myself. People commenting gives me motivation, and I can't thank you enough!
