hmmm... i didnt quite understand the situation.. never occurred to me.. and i havent used the clone tool yet.. hmm... maybe try to re-open photoshop and if that problem still exist, have a screen shot of whats going on so i can understand it better.. XD

would just like to ask, how come when ever i use the brush tool there is no color coming out, and that the layer which the brush is, copies the one i tend to color, it sort of acts like a cloning tool?

We seem to have the same dreams! It's been my dream (well, one of my dreams) ever since I was little to meet Naoko Takeuchi and get her signature! XD And anytime I reread the manga or something I always get reminded of that dream.

hmmm... did u go to "profile" and selected the gift..?
from ur backroom, there's a profile just above the ad and below the "Wallpapers".. when u hover *point* ur mouse there, select gifts and u should be able to choose the gifts to put in ur portfolio.. only 10 though.. *^^;*
if u did that already and still not showing up in ur profile, u should ask a moderator to fix the prob for u.. eeh.. i dont know which mod so i think it would be best to ask adam though he doesnt reply much.. XD

u can add post in ur world by going to ur backroom.. below theOtaku.com banner, u'll see the Home, Fanart, Fan Comics, etc.. below it u can find the Post.. just point ur cursor in the "Post" and the "Add Post" will appear.. u can then add post in ur worlds.. same with modifying/editing ur posts.. its just there.. *^^* if u have multiple worlds, theres an option in which world u want to post it.. i hope my explanation is clear.. eheheh.. if u still have problems with posting.. just reply back.. i'll reply asap.. *^^*

also, i dont think im the only user who drew like this.. especially the hair.. i've seen some who does the same trick.. i just saw this trick on mangas and so i tried to improvise and live with that style.. XD

hmmm... interesting.. i usually do the lines and they do the coloring...
ur scans will be fine... ur lines are visible and clean anyway.... *^^*
no problem with traditional.. i also prefer traditional than doing things on the monitor.. thats rather difficult and stressful for my eyes lol... if my printer can scan ur scans, i'll color them traditionally if u dont mind.. or would u rather see it colored in photoshop...? XD
either way, i'd love to see how u'll draw my ocs.. good luck..~ *^^*

I've been wanting to make one myself but stories don't grow on trees for this one, sadly. I was wondering if you'd like to do an art trade with me. would just like to ask, how come when ever i use the brush tool there is no color coming out, and that the layer which the brush is, copies the one i tend to color, it sort of acts like a cloning tool?
hmmm... i'm not good in using photoshop but trying to learn...

from ur backroom, there's a profile just above the ad and below the "Wallpapers".. when u hover *point* ur mouse there, select gifts and u should be able to choose the gifts to put in ur portfolio.. only 10 though.. *^^;*
if u did that already and still not showing up in ur profile, u should ask a moderator to fix the prob for u.. eeh.. i dont know which mod so i think it would be best to ask adam though he doesnt reply much.. XD

u can add post in ur world by going to ur backroom.. below theOtaku.com banner, u'll see the Home, Fanart, Fan Comics, etc.. below it u can find the Post.. just point ur cursor in the "Post" and the "Add Post" will appear.. u can then add post in ur worlds.. same with modifying/editing ur posts.. its just there.. *^^* if u have multiple worlds, theres an option in which world u want to post it.. i hope my explanation is clear.. eheheh.. if u still have problems with posting.. just reply back.. i'll reply asap.. *^^*

I felt badly for people with amazing art that were "no'ed" (for better lack of words) so that they would be lowered in the rankings.
I like the whole top artists thing (maybe it's because of neo - after they changed that site to make it way overly childish, I haven't been a fan of websites changing).

ehehe... maybe that artist ur talking about was me too... lol.. just kidding.. well i was active in myOtaku around year 2005 or 2006.. but i got busy with something else so i stopped visiting this site.. maybe that's how that artist ur talking about was too.. there are lots of great artist that were once active and now sleeping like seifer-sama and psyconorika *i miss their works*..
also, i dont think im the only user who drew like this.. especially the hair.. i've seen some who does the same trick.. i just saw this trick on mangas and so i tried to improvise and live with that style.. XD

ur scans will be fine... ur lines are visible and clean anyway.... *^^*
no problem with traditional.. i also prefer traditional than doing things on the monitor.. thats rather difficult and stressful for my eyes lol... if my printer can scan ur scans, i'll color them traditionally if u dont mind.. or would u rather see it colored in photoshop...? XD
either way, i'd love to see how u'll draw my ocs.. good luck..~ *^^*

Yay, I found yet another good artist. I don't need to flatter you. You know how good you are. How is your comic coming along? I've been wanting to make one myself but stories don't grow on trees for this one, sadly. I was wondering if you'd like to do an art trade with me. I thought it would be pretty fun because I kinda like the way you draw. Hopefully you won't find my work to repulsive and somehow, way, or other.. decide to go along with a trade. I don't do them often nor request. But recently, they've been reason enough for me to draw.
