The analytical side is like a residual reflex from the year I spent in an Art Institute - turned out to be Hell, but I learned a LOT and a lot of it sticks with me, most notably how anal I can be about compositions, lol.
I think while I was in school, they secretly implanted a miniature drill-sergeant art teacher in my head that barks commands when I draw o_O lol
