Totally try to get to Japan if you can. Of course, make plans to come back because it might be difficult to pull yourself away. haha I've had friends that should have come back but extended their stays. :o I'd like to go to Korea some time as well.
Japan is incredible. I'm trying to remember most of my adventures so I can blog about them. I wish I could say I was fluent or something like that, but I was only there for 4 months so I did what I could. I studied Japanese for 2 years prior so I had some experience, but didn't really speak it much before living there. The best thing for it though - having a host family, and needing to use Japanese all the time. Intensive Japanese classes helped, too.
Do you know anyone on theO who is fluent or close to it?

To answer your question - no, I have never been in Japan before. I think I'm going to go to Korea before I go to Japan, because I have a cousin who moved to Korea two years ago and I miss him, but I could just hop on a ferry and go over to Japan for the weekend, if I go to Korea that is.
How is it in Japan? I bet you really got Japanese down. After all, they say that if you live in a different country for awhile you start to pick up the language quickly.
I'm from Japan as of... last Fall. lol But nah, I too am a humble American, who wishes he were still in Japan. Watching TV on my phone. Taking the train everywhere. Speaking Japanese. *sigh desuuu* Have you been to Japan before?
Haha, well, I'm glad I was right then. x3
As you probably guessed I'm not Japanese, just a humble American.
So, are you from Japan or just learning the language?
Yeah, I saw you from Laura's page, and I asked whether you were studying Japanese and/or Japanese yourself. See! You can read it just fine. :p
But I guess that answers my next question about whether you'd be interested in my all-Japanese-world Rurouni Gaijin. <_< Ah well, you can always check out Wandering Otaku for English stories on Japan. ^_^ Thanks for the sign and subscription!

Thanks for signing my guestbook.
I was a little surprised at the Japanese on my guestbook, I'm not very good at it. >>;;
So you saw my Japanese lesson on Laura's page?
Now if I can read what you said right, you asked me if I was studying Japanese? Or if I am Japanese?
