I agree with you in terms of the story and all that. I do like a lot of the art in the first series, but the third was awesome for the moves. As for the second... they changed Ray's eyes. :( I'm a bit of a cat person, so all the things about him that resemble a cat (including the napping he did in the manga (ROFL)) were really cool. But the third season didn't bring those lines back on his face which were there in the manga when he was all grown up and a daddy. (his daughter's funny for kicking Daichi in the leg XD ) So yeah, I think first season was my fave. But Tala's outfit was better in G-Rev than in the first season. Tala is fricking cool. My friend and I are writing a Beyblade fanfic called Between Two Realms (it's actually a sequel to our last fic Cold Competition https://sites.google.com/site/beybladecoldcompetition/ ) and Tala shot someone in it. We wanted to remind the readers that Tala's not someone to mess with. (cue evil laugh mwa ha ha ha ha) I have a teddy wolf I name Wolborg XD (got a white tiger teddy named Driger too - I collect teddies.)
So glad you don't like the new series. I know what you mean about the people getting into it. Someone said to me "I saw that show you like" and I said "No you didn't. It's not on TV anymore. What you saw was the shitty remake where they replaced all the characters." lol
Yup, since last year. My best friend got me into it. I had been curious but never in a position to be able to actually watch it. So my friend came along with 26 VHS tapes and got me to sit and watch them. My favourite character is Ray. But I like Kai and Tala too. I used to hate Max because he'd say one thing one moment and then something completely different the next - as though that had been his opinion all along. I found that annoying as hell. But he's grown on me. I'm not at all interested in ANYTHING after G-Rev though. As far as I'm concerned; once you replace the cast of an anime, you've ruined it beyond forgiveness. ADDING cast is OK. REPLACING them is a big no no.
