I can tell that the contrast enhancement feature was used at a more lower level of light in this wallpaper. I'd try not using screenshots from the anime for the wallpaper (if it is a screen) due to the fact that they always attain the quality of "low quality" when forced to become an image of enhanced proportions (1024 x 768).
