I have to agree with Sweetdevil because I know you can do alot better than this. You can do anything you set your mind to. In other words what you could do with this is maybe take it and add some effects or something or overlay some stuff with a bit of style to it. Take a look at mine and Sweetdevil's wallpapers to give you a bit of an idea.
I don't call this "hard work" either because there is no time and dedication. Maybe try your best and take your time and make your wallpapers and maybe bit a bit of you in it. You can become a good waller if you put your wallpaper. I've seen some more of your work and they were pretty good. Try some in more style of those.
I think you should pay more attention and spend more effort when making a wallpaper. After all, a gradient and a big sharp font isn't exactly what you call "hard work".
