As for vector art, I'm not a professional but I'll explain XD
Vector graphics are made up of paths which are defined by points, lines, and curves using pen tool in photoshop or other softwares. They can be scaled to any size and retain their sharpness and detail with no loss in quality. Vector images are flexible because they can be re-sized and stretched.
