This could easily be one of my favorites of your wallpapers!! It may be your first abstract wallpaper, but it looks so awesome!!! The colors blend together so well! Love it!!!
I don't hate it! I love it! It's just that when I see a special, out of the ordinary wallpaper I can't help but want to write a comment that matches it. So don't say I hate it, because I don't. It wouldn't be right.
And don't you delete it, people need to see it to see what good stuff is like!
:( "I hate it"? I hope people don't really say that...though I guess they would. I told you it's crap. Thanks for trying to cover up your displeasure with it with the roundabout comments though. :3 I don't know how or why it was accepted on AP. I might just delete it.
Yeah I think this one was a bold one.Trying original things may lead into new stiles so dont close up your views and expand them.I can see many effects but I still dont get how u make them lol.
Oh come on! It's not piece of crap.
It's really nice. It looks like those baroque fabrics.I can see U've put a lot of effort into it.So don't be frustrated because of it.We all adore some of our work and some we don't like at all.So.....U'll probably love U'r next wallpaper. *HUGS*
It's a strange concept and not your usual style indeed, I think we both agree on this. But I wouldn't say it's crap; it's anything but crap. Not many people would go as far as using textures this way, so don't be surprised if you see people writing 'I hate it' in the comments. If you like it, it should be enough for you, since you should make wallpapers mainly for yourself and then for others.
Back to the wallpaper itself, I'd say it's very eccentric and maybe the colors clash a little, but that's what makes it stand out from the rest. It's extravagant and well put together. I do have a problem with the green lines on the outline of the girl's hair, though, they look like they were applied a Luminosity blending mode.
From the thumbnail the scan seemed almost vector-quality, but I saw it's cleaned up when I full-viewed it. Maybe it would have looked different (I don't know if better, too) if it were vectored. Truth is, vectoring gives you more freedom in manipulating images. But it works this way too.
Last but not least, the textures are exquisite. I couldn't find better ones to illustrate this concept. Both stylish and provocative, the girl's expression emphasizes the elegance of the overall graphic. The 'burst' is a good addition, it leaves the impression of movement and energy; without it everything would have looked static and 'old'.
Overall, I think it's a concept wallpaper more than a desktop one, the type I'd keep in my collection of elites and look at once in a while, saying "wow". I like the fact that you left space for icons and that you focused more on the background whilst emphasizing the character in a way that's fit for the concept. I applaud you and hope to see more wallpapers like this.
Well I have to be honest, I think it would look alot better if you used that texture for just her kimono, and used another one for the background. I think that would have made it alot better, But I respect you for having that much persistince to work that long! I would have given up after three hours!of working on that.
But I just had to hug it so instead of hugging the wallpaper I am hugging you! *hugs* that wallpaper must have made you get a little frustrated :3
Well at least I am honest ^^
Keep uploading them wallpapers I really enjoy yours!:D

Wow I've never seen you use to much texture and background stuff before. I wonder what this looks like on someones desktop as a background. XD It's very eye catching, it was the first thing I noticed when I flipped through the wallpapers. There are no more thumbs up on comments so here. b^_^
