Yeah, I remember when Ryuk said that, it stunned me for a moment. How could Light not understand that? He was truley consumed in the thought of ruling his lil utopia as a god... crazy kid.

It's true. Kira had sense, but after the death Note came, he turned psycho. Ryuk even said, "You kill off all the criminals and the only bad person left would be yourself."
