Yeah, I did smart blurred it, and used the gaussian blur too ^^

I agree. If you want to make widescreen ones, then you must start on widescreen! Otherwise, if you want to size it up to a larger widescreen...then yeah, it would be stretched. :/ Or you would just have a big black border around it! Lol, which isn't pretty. ^^; So what I do is start on 1920x1200 and then crop the main part of the wall to 1600x1200 when done. So some will be cut off, but at least nothing is stretched. :)
